I think it's an aquired taste ... you can't just jump into such a ... distinct (for lack of a "better" word fear of attack) taste ;-)

Anyone wanting Marmite, Marmite, or Vegemite in the US can find it on the Internet very easily. All three are available at http://www.everythingaustralian.com.

The Sanitarium Marmite, made in New Zealand is "less rancid" according to some than the British version. A friend of mine always refers to Vegemite as "$#!+"

I saw it on television when I was little, and I thought maybe I would try it so I did. I liked it, it actually doesn't taste that bad.
