well i haven't got them in a long time, but yup, southern boy too.(my parents are yankee's and eat grits though)...lol

it use to be a different country called the confederacy(sp?)...but the union didn't like it too much.. (forgot all the social studies stuff i learned...)

No, I have never seen a grit. Never smelled one. Never ate one. And if I ever go into the south all I want to eat is part of a pig rosting around on a spit and with an apple in its mouth. Not a grit! eww isn't that like shredded wheat??

its a grain i think....and the apple in pigs mouth is in Hawaii...

hmm...I live in GA I would say yes!! But... I never heard of grits or many other things until I moved here.
