It does depend I suppose, with some artists you do see a very quick turnaround between the first single and an album. It will be interesting to see what promotion is done, hopefully we will have some more information after the gig.

The Inc and Vanessa parted company a while ago. Irv said it was nothing personal, but business is business. They still talk from time to time, I believe.

very valid points!  I'm still going to stay true to my March 21st.  I'm stubborn like that.  I also don't think Vanessa is your typical pop artist.  "Who knows" is kind of a general theme..who knows, she may already have artwork done.  who knows, she may already have photo shoots.  who knows, she may not do any promotion! (I hope not).  Who knows! lol

They're a pretty good choir too, so it should be interesting to hear how they're incorporated into the music.

I love She Floats so much because of the fake choir, it makes the song exceptional, so this is going to be amazing, so excited. If she gets a "profesional" choir I bet they will sing some lyrics in the songs. All girls in that pic!

Yup, I got it from there.

I emailed and asked if the picture I posted was from when they recorded for Vanessa's album, and the woman emailed back saying it was.

I've responded asking if she can give me any more info re: the songs and stuff, but I doubt she can say too much. Still - worth a try.

She must be confused or something ... or maybe there's photos scheduled to be put up from V's session and she just assumed they were from that. I dunno. I'll see what she says when/if she replies back to my other question.

Wow nice find :) Yes, I love the fake choir in She floats too and I adore the mini choir in Hands on me. Choirs give so much energy to a song, it becomes alive in a very special well, if appropriate in the song. Otherwise it can be totally creepy. But it won't, because V knows exactly what she's doing.

May 5th release? I'd more than happy, just in time for my birthdy =)

Yay! Lots more stuff up on the album now. <3

I'm guessing it's coming out before May, Maybe late March or early April since her last twitter post was that she was mastering it.
