The very first poem I wrote when I was home 5.31.03
« on: August 02, 2003, 05:50:05 am »
I was cleaning my room a few weeks ago and ran across some of the older things I had been writing down just about my daily life and how I had hoped that when I'd read it later it would have changed. Anyways, I ran across a poem I had totally forgotten I'd wrote... And I don't think I've posted it in here so I think I'll do that now, ... haha, I've been putting this off for sometime now. :)

CONSEQUENCES

Living and walking
In the dark
Holding onto dreams
That weight down on thin ice
Hoping and dreaming
For a change
Searching for the strength
To pull me through this day
And I blew it
One mistake makes it all
Swirl down the drain
In an endless cycle of regret
And I fall through
Broken ice by choices
Unwisely made

Oh and hey guys! I'm starting a new song on the piano! It'll probably take me months to get it to the point of even sounding like "something" but I was thinking that maybe I could combine some of my poems or at least the general gist of them since they're all pretty much about the same things... Just thought I'd share that with you.
