Hey everybody I'm Alex. Every so often I'm going to pick an artist, most of the time they wont be mainstream, and I'm going to right a short review of what i think of them. Then I will give them a rating out of 5.

Alright the first artist I'm going to review is Boomkat. I heard Boomkat for the first time today (March 27th 2003)on Much Music. Although I wasn't to impressed by the song (The Wrecking) who was singing the song made me interested in finding out more. The singer is Taryn Manning you all know her from such movies as Crossroads, White Oleander, and she also made a short appearance in 8 Mile as Eminem's ex-gf. Like I said I wasn't to impressed by the song (The Wrecking), but decided to look her up on Kazaa and d/l one other song of hers called "Wasting My Time". Well I must say that "Wasting My Time" is 10X better then "The Wrecking" and because of that I'm going to give her 3 pineapples out of 5.

While looking around IUMA, a website made for unsigned artists to promote themselves,m, I found a banded named $7 Haircut. The name alone made me go check them out and at first I wasnt dissapointed. The first song I listened to was called "Jealous Gorilla Love" and with a name like that I knew it had to be good and I was right, this song rocks. After that I listened to a song called "When It's Time For Me To Die" and this is where the dissapointment hit me. If these guys ever get signed they will only ever be one hit wonders. So I'm going to give $7 Haircut 3 pineapples out of 5

I downloaded that Wasting My Time song. *shrug* it was okay, but not worth keeping.

She's unsigned and put her music career on hold for a while to get married and do the family thing. I hope she returns to it someday.
I found out about her cause she appeared on a TV show called "Your Big Break" doing a cover of "Angel".

Kev when I tried going to her official website it says "cannot find server" and when I tried d/l the songs off ur site i got this

But shes pretty sexy.

I changed all links to the MP3s, they should all be downloadable now. Her official site I have no control over obviously. But at least you can now evaluate. Sorry for the probs with the dumb server! -Vulturemod

Ok I started writing this review once already, but my comp. screwed up soo I'm going to make this review short and sweet. Cherilyn Fielding is an amazing talent. When I was listening to her song from "Your Big Break" I wasnt sure if I was listening to Cherilyn or Sarah McLachln herself. So I give Cherilyn a 4 pineapples out of 5 rating.
