so for my first venture into customizing t-shirts, i stenciled a picture of vanessa on to a plain white t-shirt from h&m.
i used this picture from the giant mag shoot:
(http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/91a270349d3b3d6e2d3cfe4a3328e05f2g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=ipwxygn2xhz&thumb=4)
and modified it and made it into a stencil. plus some fabric paint and some very slowgoing application of the paint and - ta dah! hanging from my dresser is my first self-stenciled vanessa carlton tshirt:

and if anyone has suggestions, shoot :]

I like it, it looks somewhat vintage. Maybe you should do one bigger on a shirt with some lace or something to make it look kinda victorian but modern if that makes sense?
-
That's so cool! :D

thats so cool! :D
Maybe u could write Vanessa Carlton in small letters around it or something...or a quote from a song...cause people might know who she is form the stencil
BUT OMG ITS AN AWESOME IDEA AND IT LOOKS SO COOL!!!! :D :D

wow! it's awesome! you had a great idea and talent too! :D

OMG I want one! That looks so amazing, you should be soo proud of yourself! :D Love it. Watch out, now im coming to your house tonight to take it

That looks awesome! I cannot do that sort of precision with an Xacto knife lol. I made some shirts too some were inspired by V, some just for fun. Sorry for the bad quality they were taken by a camera phone!

I love H&M shirts, they're so cheap, but its hard for me to get them cause the only store in my area of their's that sells men's is in san francisco.

Ooohhhh i like these...haha. Um is it possible to make clip art out of a picture so that like if I wanted to put V on the shirt without the background image or something?
