Title: What is your favorite V Album?

This is referring to the SONGS (lyrics, vocals, instruments, flow from song to song, etc) not the rest of the album

And of course if you haven't heard the whole H&T album yet, please wait to vote....

Then i remembered that she's the girl that sing a thousand miles... after i bought harmonium, then i realized this is the kind of music that i want to enjoy for the rest of my life... i want to live and die with those songs! i'll say Harmonium is the best and H&T is after.

-Heroes and Thieves is pretty different, very lighter, but it's truly amazing! This was worth waiting 3 years for!
-BNN is just full of darkness, but also has those lighter songs too, and i love the album art. all the songs are so close to my heart.

Harmonium fans please don't shoot me for this:
Although, i love Harmonium for it's organic-ness, and it's bittersweet songs, but there's something that i felt was missing. it's still really good, just not my favorite.

I'd concur, if it wasn't for the fact that H & T relates so well to my current
circumstancwes that its easily my fave of the albums to listen to. There's
a point at which V's music is absorbed into your subconscious and having
to listen to her music is as easy as starting up your own 'private radio'. I
think my fave tracks off H & T are Home, My Best, More Than This, H & T

Thats exactly what happened to me! My friend showed me white houses and I loved it, then I realized she sang a thousand miles and now im here :]

Post by: Felo on May 02, 2008, 01:13:44 am: My favorite album is Harmonium, I also think nothing will every top that... I mean, the instrumentation, the lyrics, the singing *-* come on, everything looks like the perfect evolution from BnN, which is my second favorite.

Not that I don't like H&T, because I do, but I find it a little bit repressed... in most of the songs, V isn't giving her best when it comes to singing, like they recorded them once or twice and that's it. There are some songs that are over-produced, YET lacking of production in some areas. I might not make myself clear, but you know what I mean. Lyrically, I couldn't ask for more, this is how songs are meant to be written.
