Title: Jack Johnson
Post by: tylor2000 on August 02, 2003, 11:17:30 pm: I just saw him in a concert(I think he was an opening act for Ben Harper.) My opinion is that he makes very cool songs. I find some of them boring because he seems to be monotone, but when he gets out of that and actaully puts some expression and different notes in his voice his songs really shine. I have to admit that I haven't really heard his music much except maybe on the radio..but all the ones I remember hearing on the radio seem to have that kind of expression in his singing.

Post by: Dancernl on January 15, 2004, 10:25:10 pm: I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jack Johnson! My friend had me listen to his stuff over the summer and I was hooked. His voice is like silk. "Taylor" has been on VH1 a couple times, I hope the general public takes notice of him. The video is annoying though.

Post by: 1vcfan on June 03, 2004, 09:21:35 am: I LOVE Jack! He is one of my favorite artists of all time. He's had some cd's out for a while- he is definetly not new to the music world, but he is to the public world.

I wish more people knew about him...he deserves it.

The "Taylor" video is alright...it gets annoying with Ben Stiller in it (even though I love that guy)

I LOVE Jack Johnson! His music is awesome and it's the best to listen to when you just want to chill! Almost makes me feel like I'm in Hawaii, haha

I'd heard of him before and had a couple of his songs but never really bothered to check out much else until I bought "On and On" the other day. I really like him! Hopefully I'll be buying "In Between Dreams" soon

It's awesome how even when performing infront of a amphitheter packed with thousands of people who came to see him, he's still totally chill, down to earth and funny. I love it when artists can still be humble when going through a ton of fame! I love Jack Johnson!!! :D

I love his new CD "Sleep Through The Static". I like all of his stuff. It's very mellow, and I think that's why I like it.
My favorites are: Banana Pancakes, Taylor, Traffic In The Sky, Gone, Sleep Through The Static, Angel, If I Had Eyes, Sitting, Waiting, Wishing, Upside Down, Bubble Toes, Belle.... I like all his songs!

I wish Jack would tour more in he US, well right now, because later this year he's going to Australia... His only close US show to me is in indio but I don't know where that is
