On Tuesday, July 17, Six Flags Fiesta Texas welcomes Vanessa Carlton as part of the Clearasil® Summer Concert Series. Concert is free with park admission. Concert tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.

I wondered if you were still there and thought about going since I have family in SA that I havent' seen since I moved back to CA. But then I remembered how hot it is there and changed my mind but it would be cool to see a show with you again :)

That would be awesome! I believe the technical term for the weather here is "hot as balls" since it's already hit 100+. Come on Let, can't handle a little sweat??? ;) jk jk I wouldn't wish the heat on anyone, but since I'm here anyway, I might as well suffer while listening to some great tunes! Maybe I'll even lose some weight just standing out there. Win win!

I am sure I could handle it. We did that Nashville show and it was hot and humid. I still don't know how I lived in GA for 10 years. Would be fun, for sure, I'll check into it.

I remember pics from that event. Looked pretty toasty. I wish it wasn't a Tuesday but I should be able to at least pull a half day. I'm sure the concert starts at 7 or later and I'm off work at 4, but of I'm paying for a ticket to Six Flags I'm riding a roller coaster damn it! I've actually never been to that Six Flags though I could see it from my window at school for nearly 5 years lol I might be able to get discount tickets through my credit union so let me know if you want to go

i think this one will be big for the nessaholics. she'll probably sing that "take it easy" song once more, and she'll probably have another song to premiere! just like it was with "i don't wanna be a bride" and "tall tales for spring".

According to V's Facebook, this show was cancelled. It's also been taken down from the Six Flags Fiesta Texas website :(

From the I Hate It When That Happens Dept. — concerts canceled the day before they’re supposed to happen.
But as much as I hate it, you can bet Six Flags Fiesta Texas hates it even more.
The theme park received word this afternoon that singer-songwriter Vanessa Carlton wouldn’t make her Tuesday gig. No explanation was given from her management folks other than she wouldn’t be there, a park spokesman said.
Naturally, this left them in major scramble mode to get the word out. There was no mention of the cancellation on Carlton’s website. The show was the last of a string of summer dates.
Since her glory days of “A Thousand Miles” (nominated for three Grammys) have been in the rear-view mirror for almost a decade, Carlton doesn’t need the bad press. Her latest album is last year’s “Rabbits on the Run” on the indie label Razor & Tie after making three records for the major label A&M.

Hopefully she's able to come here soon, but not at Six Flags. It would be much better if she would play at a normal concert venue...preferably inside because it's hotter than blazes out here

maybe the heat is why she cancelled? I know that here in NY it is supposed to be really hot, plus we have an air quality advisory, which doesn't happen very often and we've had 2 already this summer.
