Yay! I'm so excited to see everyone. It's been way too long.

I've bought 2 tickets, but not sure if my friend will be able to come with because of her work schedule. we're working on it! I'm looking into rooms and getting pumped! I just need all the details to fall into place, but I didn't want to wait for the details and not get tickets! yay!

Hey everyone!!
Just want to make sure that everybody realizes - the Fairfield, CT is SUPER accessible from NYC (and I know there are bunch of Vanessa fans there).
If you jump on the Metro North train from Grand Central, you will be in Fairfield in under 70 minutes, and the venue is literally steps from the train station. It's a tiny black box theater seating under 200, so it will be a FANTASTIC and intimate environment, even more so than the Highline Ballroom show in NYC five days later.
I'm not recommending Fairfield instead of New York - I'm saying go to both! I am :)
With love from a very old fan,
Rachel

See you there old friends!! ;)

so is this the place at the end of the high line, or is this not even close to the high line. i'm a little confused because the website says it's named after the high line... not that it's located on the high line.
hmmmm
anywho, see you all there

Trying to find a place to stay for the night of the 15th, sooooooo expensive :/ any suggestions? I know I should've done this long ago, but I didn't.

Once again I rented an apartment through roomorama.com from a certified host. It is closer to the train station than the venue, but I couldn't find anything closer for under 200. I did find a hostel in chelsea that is close-ish as well and super cheap if you're not picky. I think the cheapest "hotel" I found was The Jane; they had limited rooms left (two months or so ago) and one of the cheaper ones was bunkbeds, shared bathroom.
the hostel: http://www.chelseahostel.com/
basically, if you go to google maps, search the highline ballroom and then "search nearby" and type in hostel or hotel. That's what I did when i was doing my research. I decided on roomorama.com because it fit best for what I wanted with an okay price.

we can't really afford to, so we'll just have to go home after the show instead of the original plan on staying over and spending a day in nyc. oh well
-
if the place we got wasn't so small i would gladly have you stay with us but it's suuuuuuuper tight. sorry to hear, but at least you're going!
-
I'll be there too but you knew that already! ;D
