I'm very self -conscious :( I avoid mirrors most of the time.  But I do use em to put on make-up and make sure I don't look liek a complete fool.

I usually get a hand held mirror and use that with the big mirror in order to check out how bouncy my pony tail is looking from behind - after having put my hair up, that is.  Bounciness is important to me.   8)

Oh, I am so weird about mirrors.  I won't have a mirror in my bedroom, and anytime I'm in a hotel room or someone else's room where there's a mirror, it has to either be turned away from the bed I'm sleeping in or covered up.  The only time I ever use a mirror is to check my hair or face or put Anbesol in my mouth.
