Took a whole bunch of pics of a Cheesecake I made on Monday so I could
share them with my Mom, who was interested to see how a Pumkin Pie as
she used to make it could inspire the Marbled Cheesecake. While more fine
tuning of the recipe lies ahead, it definately tastes as good as it looks :thumbsup:

^^^ That looks good!!! this is a weird question but are you a sommelier?
-
^^^ That looks good!!! ...are you a sommelier?
Yes; and oftentimes I produce stuff from my kitchen like the above, which
has people asking me if I'm a chef! Here in Queensland, there is way less
work available for Sommeliers than Chefs because of the lack of a culture
here that embraces food and wine. I do often wonder where I'd be now if
I had discovered my ability in the kitchen before I finished Highschooling!!

Doing a bit of walking tomorrow, so if the sun is out like it was today (for
the first time this week), I'll take my camera and see what pics I can get
In the full grip of winter about the only thing attempting to flower in many
of the landscaped gardens a block behind the beach is the Pohutukawa; I
will go back to the best specimen later... only a couple of blocks away. The
others had started to look way past their best, none with blooms like this;
