Alright, so we're concluding it's a VLC issue, not an issue with the file.

Sarah xx
Which version of VLC are you using? Most likely an error that you can resolve with a patch for VLC; see the link here to give you some ideas  ;)

Here's my new signature, inspired by IDWTBAB ;) This started as an overnight project, with V's livestream gig adding extra inspiration in between!

I know. Out of all of the "new" (I know it's not technically new, but off the new album) songs, this one is possibly my favourite.
I love all the songs, but this is the one that I can't get out of my head.

I can understand why she originally called the album "Tall Tales For Spring" - this song is just magnificent.

Sarah

The subject matter that inspired this song poses as many questions as it answers. I think that's what V wanted to endear to this composition - an
attempt to understand things without a unified theory :-* Tall Tales for Spring is a reminds us how much there is that resists a single explanation!

Way too hard, but here are some, could really have picked every line from ATM

If I could Fall Into The Sky, do you think time would pass me by.

And as the depth of oceans slowly become shallow
It's loneliness she finds.

well nothing hurts and nothing bleeds
when covers tucked in tight

I will never cease to fly if held down and
I will always reach too high cause I've seen, cause I've seen Twilight

If I drank too much when I am reckless
Just this once would you forgive this

Now I'm walking with the living
I always liked Steinbeck and those old men whistling

talking in the Mission
Over coffee this is my utopia
Man, I'll be your lady

and friends become strangers
All of the above... and from what I've heard from ROTR, the 3 lines from IDWTBAB that I've used in my new signature. Escapest V at her best!

So including V's new emblem from the ROTR artwork, and the lyrics I mentioned above, here's the first completed banner (a work in progress) ;)

And we could catch a train to another life
On a whim under the moonlight
I promise you, will you promise me?

Love these lyrics from the song, so set about finding a suitable source image to start with & found an amazing snap (only 72dpi though)! See URL

Nice interview. Great to see V in such candid form as well. May Vanessa's "record of my dreams" uphold the expectations such descriptions bring ;)

Dear California:tale of the missus in the Doors song Love Her Madly."Don't u love her as she's walkin out the door."She knows jim.She knows.

This was posted at 8:09am! interesting parallel Vanessa has found in the theme of both songs. Hopefully Dear California is as current in 40 years ;D

Vanessa lost interest already? Damn.
It's not so much that she has lost interest as had difficulty 'finding her voice' to create newer material. If V experienced a bout of writer's block
then Rabbits On The Run is probably even better off for it. Having taken the road less traveled, she's clearly created something very special :-*

So interesting to see Watership Down as such an influential piece of literature so long after it was published in 1972. I remember the film as a
notable animated feature in 1978, the feature track 'Bright Eyes' by Art Garfunkel going on to be a British Chart-topping #1 single. See Wiki  ;)

When was this live performance actually recorded? It only turned up via fb earlier today  :-*

I made this one out of boredom. Anyone is free to use it. (:

and that dove should be a white rabbit...

The dove can be changed into a white rabbit easily with Painter 11 or Adobe CS5. I haven't decided what to do for a 'Carousel' sig yet though :-p

Nice work. Perhaps I should make a ROTR Wallpaper in Corel Painter 11 as my next digital art project.
There are lots are really cool effects that would nice in a Wallpaper that I haven't used yet. Plenty of
inspiration at www.digitalartistdaily.com  ;D Perhaps something of a chase sceen would be appropriate.
