haha. Scene: Holden in the park with his hunter's hat on. Andrew kicks and bitch slaps him, then runs away.

i dont' see how it can be considered the voice of our generation.....i mean, i can see why, but i don't think it's really applicable any more. it was written so long ago. Critics are starting to call The Perks of Being a Wallflower today's Catcher In the Rye, which is in someways true. Only Perks.... is a much better book

Do that mission trip.  That's a hell of an idea.  I know several people who have done that, and one of the guys i work with is headed to Belize next wed.  They all say nothing but good things about the experience.

As for #2, well.  good luck with that.  Very few "great guys" in this world.  We're all pricks deep down

i posted a thread about them in the other artists section!
if you like rock (hard, punk, skate, emo... they've been called all those) then you might like them. You told me you liked Yellowcard once, so maybe you would! Check them out in my thread, and let me know what you think!  :)

Yes!! I want to go on a mission trip SO bad! Ive heard so many good things! I recently heard a talk about someone who went to Sierra Leon (sp?). It is really bad there... they just got out of a civil war where there were guerillas who would amputate people for no reason. So they need a lot of medical help and it is one, if not the poorest countries in the world! I want to help! Or my church sometimes goes to Taiwan to help in a lepard colony... I just want to do something!

And about the guys... yes, I know it's hard to find a good guy, trust me. Lol, I haven't yet. All the great guys I know are either gay or taken (or too far or too old/young). But I can dream, can't I? :)
