You dropped the violin? :o Shame.
I want to pick up the cello, but I don't know if it'll ever happen, besides it's a little late in the game for me to be picking up an instrument like that, lol.

piano for seven years now. It's been a good journey.

The piano (almost 5 or 6 years) & violin (didn't last too much)

Nothing. I toy around with a keyboard. My goal is to toy around with a Yamaha P70, which is about as much as I'll ever really need.
-
I play the piano and the tin whistle.
I used to play flute but since they put me orthodontics it hurts me, so I'll give up til my teeth is fine!
-
A little recorder and a bit of piano is all I know..But one of my grandmother's friends has taken interest in me and wants to teach me how to play the guitar and how to carry a tune...
-

Aw you make me feel bad... :(
I dropped it because I wanted to focus more on piano... violin took up a lot of my time and my teacher was a bastard so I didn't really care for it anymore. But i still play though, on occasion. I sometimes write orchestrations for some songs... it's pretty fun. :)

I used to be able to play piano, but haven't had proper lessons in almost 8 years, now i only use the piano to understand harmonies and stuff like that. Ever since i dropped the piano, i picked up clarinet and flute. I sometimes ply pic, but only because my band conductor makes me, i hate it.

I play piano, guitar, bass guitar, & drums.
I'm a singer and songwriter. I learn these instruments in order to compose and play my own music. I started off with piano, then guitar (rhythm and lead). Since a bass guitar is similar to a guitar, I thought I'd give it a go too. Then I thought I may as well try drums as well, because I'd become so interested in the relationships between the instruments. This is definitely enough for me though, I'm not going to start learning another!
Piano is what I write with the most. I usually start with piano and then write guitar around it, or transfer my ideas from piano to guitar. Bass is what I find most fun to play. I'm most in love with guitars. <3

Good luck with your guitar lessons!
Yeah, I learn by myself. I could never afford lessons for everything, haha.
I go to vocal coaching every week and I used to have piano lessons weekly, but I'm taking a break as I need time to concentrate on guitar. I had lessons for awhile but there is only ONE teacher in my area and it was all acoustic stuff and I want to play rock and metal on electric guitar. What style are you learning? What kind of guitar do you want? I have a Gibson SG (electric) and an Ibanez acoustic.
