to be honest though rosie, that's what this whole election has really come down to, it sucks, but all that seems to be going on now is name calling and dissing...i'm not singling out anyone, because a lot of us have been doing it

in the end though, name calling really doesn't prove anything.  people have their own views, and at this point, with today being the big day, dissing the other party isn't going to do shit...

just go vote for who you want to vote for and wait to see what happens.

i think we've all seen enough bashing of republicans and dems to last us for the next for years

Kerry is planning on redeloying troops just like Bush. And under Kerry, there could be the reinstatment of a draft to get those troops, whereas Bush is firmly opposed to it. But BOTH canidates have plans for deloyments aka war. Once Iraq is stabe, Iran is next on the agendas. And it's still too early to see what happens with NKorea.


I hate to break it to you, BV, but you're full of shit.

Kerry wants to get troops out SOONER than Bush and Kerry has ALSO strongly declared NO DRAFT.  Also, redeployment <> adding additional.  It means REDEPLOYING troops already in the field.

Also, both candidates have plans for DEALING with other foreign threats.  Neither has suggested for a SECOND that they plan to send troops to Iran or N. Korea.

Also, historically, Republicans are significantly more likely to go to war than democrats, especially over the last 50 years.

Get your facts straight before you try correcting someone else.

but the truth is that Kerry voted to go to war too.


Kerry voted to go to war UNDER A SPECIFIC SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES that did NOT HOLD TRUE.

Kerry said "Go to war IF all other options are used up and IF we have the support of the rest of the world and IF our intelligence indicates that Iraq is a threat."

It was up to Bush to decide when those "IF'S" came true.
