Yeah. According to an article I read, they were put together through an audtition process to find a pop duet. Good for them. But, I think the whole lesbian thing was put together by producers to be their gimmick. And, I would go further to say, that the gimmick was part of the original plan for them, and being willing to acting like that was a prerequisite for auditioning.
