Title: Quail Dude Squaw on Piano
Post by: UltimateVC on December 28, 2006, 06:34:08 pm: I finally got a camcorder that can upload onto the computer and a liottle while back, i posted that i had me playing Quail Dude Squaw (my version). I will be posting it tonight on youtube, an i'll put the site on here to see.

I just said that some people believe that that is Quail Dude Squaw. Someone once posted a link called "fuckthefunkingfuckers", and there was conversation that that was Quail Dude Squaw/ Qualude. And some people thought that on the making of harmonium that song was Quail Dude Suaw, because V said that they where working on it, and thast was when she was making Harmonium. And yes it is very easy, but V only played a little bit of the song on the making of harmonium.

Still Vanessa said that the song was hard, and clearly that is not- you also added A LOT to it- I can play it- Not hard at all the only thing is maybe the octaves moving so fast, but besides that nothing in that song sofar is hard- there is no way that could be Qualude

But really, its a good song, almost Spanish sounding to me! That reminds me of the time when Vanessa went to Spain and she said that she'll get inspiration from getting drunk and watching Spanish people go by. Haha that was funny. :D

She/he's talking about the little thing she played to "show the beautiful tone of her piano." I learned how to play that on the piano.
Anyways just to let everyone know I got a sheet music program and am working on Quail Dude Squaw.

"Someone" was me, and I only called it that because the file-sharing service I was using wouldn't let me call it "Vanessa Carlton"-anything because of possible copyright issues, so I just called it what was on my mind at the time. I'm not sure what song that's supposed to be, but I think this "extension" on the theme is quite intriguing. It certainly sounds Vanessa-ish over most of it. Who knows what the rest of that really sounded like, though?

Ya this threads sooo old i doubt anyone is working on the sheets now...but it would be cool if someone could start working on them for us :)
