Okay so in my English class we're all required to pick an autobiography or biography to read. I've been searching around but can't really seem to find anything...anyone have a recommendation or any ideas? It's supposed to be ninth-grade level and it can't be about a singer/movie star/sports star/celebrity. Any help would be reeeeeeally appreciated. :D

Rosemary Clooney's autobiography is awesome.
I really want to read Anthony Kiedis's autobiography. <3 The Red Hot Chili Peppers

well, it's the best you're going to get if it can't be by someone famous.

What? I can't believe you celebrity obsessed people! There are tons of (auto)biographies by interesting people who have done and achieved far more than any celebrity ever has (i.e. something).
But I won't name any because I'd rather not help vt with her homework.

I'm partial to the Steven Spielberg biography. I read it senior year of highschool. Excellent life story.

Zlata's Diary ...
I don't know if it counts as an autobiography, but this little girl wrote a journal during the Bosnian war...
