She's doing an in-store performance for a Nylon Mag event? I'm not sure exactly what it is, I just know she'll be there. And I'm SO there!!

i just called and the lady wasn't much help, she didn't know very many details. she said she was unsure if she was performing or if it was just a cd signing. i asked her if we needed wristbands and she said she didn't think so but that maybe we should get there early.
i wanted to laugh when she said "i'm not really sure who she is so i don't know if there's gonna be a big crowd, but when the KARDASHIANS were here, there were hundreds of people so maybe come around 4?" hahaha.
i'm gonna call maybe tomorrow or even thursday and hopefully someone else answers the phone who will know more

yea, it's definitely confirmed she's gonna be there. i'm just concerned for myself cause i get off work at 5 in orange county so i wouldn't be able to get there (with traffic) until right at 6... i mean, i don't really think there's gonna be a big crowd, do you? if WE hardly even knew about this event, there's not gonna be tons of vc fans waiting all day, do you think?
and i guess i should wait to buy the cd until that day.. if they make us buy it to have her sign it...

The first 150 people who buy the Cd get a Cd (duh), and she doesn't know if it will get signed. It IS from 6-8... and that's about all. It doesn't sound like you HAVE TO buy the album, which is good (if you're like me and prefer to not buy eighty copies of the album). :) So ya... that's all I got. I don't know if I can go. But let's keep this event on the down low.... okay people? haha ...

The fact that Vanessa will be performing is pretty sweet! Stevie Nicks was in their July issue as well as Florence Welch so they obviously have great taste in musicians and will (hopefully) do a great job with her and give her a lot of publicity!

Yes, it doesn't say anything about meeting V in the ad, just if you buy something, you get the CD. But I'm sure you probably will have a good chance of it.
Sparkling wine is basically Champagne, just it wasn't made in Champagne, France, or that method, with grapes from that region so it can't technically be called Champagne.
My favorite Sparkling Wine is Mumm's Sparkling Pinot. So good.

i could probably do it if you wanna meet me at bebe... but honestly, in my experience, the RSVP's don't really mean anything. we're gonna show up and they probably won't even ask for our names and just let us in. so i'd try that if i were you

"Ok they have a few free CDs but none to sell. So he suggested we buy one before hand. And she'll sign them and we get to meet her!!!!!!!! Also he doesn't think she'll be performing because there's gonna be a guest dj there, but he said you never know. Unmm what else. He said people will be lining up around 3! So the sooner we can get there the better."
then why did we rsvp? so confusing. whatever. i guess i'll bring my own cd and show up at 6 and hope for the best.
also, i don't think showing up at 3 is necessary. the guy she talked to brought up the kardashians again saying that when they had a signing there HUNDREDS of people showed up and started lining up around 3. i don't think the same will happen for vanessa...

Oh my God. This was literally traumatizing. lol. She showed up kinda (really) late, but who cares? haha. :P She meandered around to do stuff for a little, and then she met us. I was shaking and freaking out. But she was so sweet... she signed my White Houses vinyl (she wrote 'Ryan' instead of 'Brian' (I blame the loud music), which I actually think is cute... haha) But ya... she was really nice, and it was a shame that she couldn't really hang... I would have liked to interact with her more... but I took some pics and stuff... gah! THe first time meeting V is amazing! Prepare to be traumatized for those who haven't met her! :)

When people got their album people were wondering about the thanks. Then when she didn't mention her fans people were like !. Then a short while later she tweeted, thanking her fans. So either her or someone close to her reads these posts... Hehehe we're being watched... :P
