i dont know, i'm all confused. people are thinking way too much into this online team thing.

let me give you a for instance...
If we don't protect the name nessaholics, anyone can create merch or other things using the name nessaholics. It isn't a problem if they create something that says "Go NESSAholics!" but what if something was created that said... say... "Fuck NESSAholics!" We would want to be able to have some ground to stand saying they can't make that (and sell it for profit!).
What if someone used the term "nessaholics" in a method that was counter-productive to the promotion of Vanessa? How would you feel then?

Do you have to pay in order to be able to trademark it, or copyright it? (is that the way to say it? :? )

Have any of the admins/the NESSAholics site owner(s) contacted the online team about their concerns, yet?

yeah yeah i agree with everything
im just against the forcing them to change the name thing.
grouping up with them would be great. we should go for that.
as much as i think they could've picked a better name, i dont think we should make them change the name, ..they didnt steal it.
aw nevermind, i'll just shut up and let everyone else do the talking. i obviously dont know what im talking about. :roll:

For whatever its worth, in general, I agree with KULP on the whole Nessaholics thing. I just don't want to get involved in all the bomb throwing that's going on over opposing viewpoints. I think those that founded this site and own the domain name are really the only ones who can complain about it...but they should try to open a dialogue with the online team and not be threatening. Oh well. Keep your head up.
Also, as fans of Vanessa we need to unite and not let something like this divide us. I for one am happy that there is an official online team, finally. Overall, her former management did a terrible job promoting her, IMHO. I think this new online team is for the better.

You guys are absolutely correct... We don't support all the comments made to "force them" to do this or "make them" do that. We (the staff) have opinions on this matter of which will remain private and we are addressing it as we see fit. As for the comments we're making towards each other over this; there is no need. We greatly appreciate all your support and thoughts -- you have no idea! I am confident that VC's management and the team at fanscape will happily work with us =)

Thank you for posting this to address our concerns. I was getting really concerned. I respect you guys keeping your actions/opinions on this private.

I wish I would have joined this forum years ago. Everyone here, in general is a lot more mature and helpful than the o-boards, which I lurked around for the past few years.
