Hey guys. I know I said I don't really write music and do more of the cover thing, but I ended up writing this recently and Pete said it was good and I should share it, so here it is. It's kind of gloomy, don't be sad. :)

Wow, Noelle!  I absolutely love it.  Gloomy, a bit yes, but phenomenal!  You have an incredible voice, what a gift!  :D  You should write your own songs more often!

Oh I was exaggerating, but I do get nervous in public, especially singing. My voice gets all shaky like Dolly Parton hahah. Well, at first, then I get more comfortable... after awhile.

Yeah, as I get older I think my voice is sounding less like V, but it still does sometimes!! Plus when I sing her songs I try to sort of sound like her, and here I did not.

Lol, thank you. I know, I look very young. I am finally slowly starting to catch up to my age. But I definitely don't think I look 22. I think I look 19 on a mature looking day, haha.

Very nice!!! Yeah you do sound like Vanessa, even the way you say "not".  :wink:  But you sound like her in a good way. Some people try to sound like her when they sing her songs but it comes out sounding nasally and forced when they should be just singing their natural voice.

Oh yes I can hear much Vanessa influence in this song, especially the ending! Vanessa would be proud.  :razz:

Hehe yeah, I think that the song "We All Said So" is my most Vanessa-esque song. We do sound alike. Well, it's most apparent when I cover her songs bc I have a tendency to sing like the artist- but I do sound more like her than anyone else I do cover songs of. Well, I think so. I have a bit more vibrato or something in my voice though.

Holy crap, you're 22?!  There's no way I would ever have guessed that!  And you have it posted right there in plain view!  I mean, I hope you take it as a compliment because, since I've never met you I can't say how old I think you act, so you may be as mature as anyone, but just to look at you, no, I would never have guessed.
