Aight....this is a movie based on a graphic novel series by Frank Miller.

Miller will be co-directing the flick with Robert Rodriquez (Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico).

Now, I haven't read the graphic novels, but the cast alone make me want to see this flick...

Filming has begun down in Texas last month....the flick is set to be released sometime in 2005 AND I CAN'T FRIGGEN WAIT.....

The comic was always solid. Frank Miller has never done a bad piece of writing. I have high expectations.

I haven't read any of the Sin City stories, YET.

the only odd thing is, and i'll learn more once I read the books, is that Jessica Alba's character, Nancy Callahan, is eleven years old in the books...based on the trailer, I can say that made the character older...

just found this over at IMDB in the trivia section for Sin City:

Originally, the film was going to include the story featured in the "Sin City" maxi-series "To Hell And Back", with Johnny Depp in the lead role as Wallace. This was scrapped before production began but will most likely be filmed for a sequel as Rodriguez plans to film all of Miller's stories at some point.

On the other hand, my stepfather saw it and said he doesn't think I should see it. I'm 14, but I've seen some pretty violent stuff and some fairly graphic sexual content (I saw Sideways :D).
Can anyone give their opinion on if I would be okay with this movie?

When I went to the movie a guy came in with 2 young girls, like 11ish each. I was surprised at that.
