My boyfriend's parents are friends with Pat Benatar, so I've hung out with her a few times.  

omg, lucky. i doubt anyone will be able to top that one lol. that is SO cool. do you know how they became friends? i'm curious to hear that story.

we started talking through his website and i went to their concerts a lot. he's just very cool and in-touch with his fans, so we became friends, but she was paranoid and strange. they ended up divorcing eventually (though not over me, haha).

wow he seems like a cool guy. i always love when celebs are in touch with their fans like that & actually seem to care about them.

well, I hung out with a friend with all the members of the Hush sound after a concert for about a good 20 minutes. It was cool, we talked about music and food and something about couches. and I met Sam from Phantom Planet in the Honda Civic Tour... do those count?

ohh i love the hush sound! i have one of their cd's (forget which one tho).

i like this show now, its cool. but it drives me nuts on how he does those tricks.

yay i'm glad you like it. i love how i keep getting people into his show lol.

& yeah it used to drive me nuts too. still does half the time, but the more i watch it, the more i'm always guessing different ways he does the illusions.

i can't wait to see how the masked magician reveals how to walk on water..the leak mead episode still trips me out thinking about it.

Take pics of the card in the door! That was so cool.
I'm dying to see his Believe show. I went to Vegas in July and I was so bummed because the show wasn't playing yet. It sounds awesome!

oh i'm definitely taking pics lol i'm gonna touch the doors where the cards at too on both sides to make sure it's actually in there. & i hope you do get to see his show.

i forget the air date (i'll try to find out), but this "magicians secrets" show is gonna reveal how to walk on water & levitate really high like Criss does, not the stupid low levitations anyone can do (*cough* david blaine *cough*). when they showed the preview of the levitating one, it almost looked like one of the places/buildings where Criss levitated & how high he went & stuff. kinda makes me wonder if the masked magician is Criss. especially since i think he's the only one to ever walk on water?

btw the david blaine thing was freaking hysterical haha i was cracking up so hard.

i was super-close with tony, the guitarist from third eye blind, a few years ago and his wife accused us of having an affair (we absolutely were not) so we had to stop talking :-/

oh wow, sorry to hear that. that really sucks. i never knew you were friends with him. how did you guys end up becoming friends?

I used to know the singer from smash mouth, him and my dad were friends, my dad actually dated his sister for a while when he was younger. but the guy went to the restaurant my dad is manager/wine semolier [idk how to spell it, but wine expert-y person, its Birk's restaurant in Santa Clara if anyone knows of it] and they talked for a bit. it's cool.

Kerli messaged me again. she likes the pictures i make.

is it the same singer that was just in a plane crash (there's two in the band right? he survived btw). that's really cool you knew him. i used to love that band back in the 90's lol. then they were on some reality show, i forget what it was called though.

yeah i loved the episodes this week too! when i see him in October i gotta find that card in the glass doors at the Luxor lol. & yeah, he's hot without the beard..good lord. i've been crushing on him since the first time i saw him on tv haha.

me & my friends are getting tickets to his new Believe show, & it looks like we're going in the middle of October sometime. i'm so excited! the show seems like it's gonna be incredible. i can't wait to experience the tornado going through the crowd, that'll be rad.

one of my friends' little sister or her friends little sister (i forget) met her & she came back crying..& not in a good way.

she's talented, but i can't get into someones music who makes little kids cry. at least Miley seems nice to her fans (can't believe i'm sticking up for Miley).

Kinda, me and Kerli have talked quite a few times on myspace, shes really cool and nice.   My dad meets celebs [mostly sports people] at work a lot.

ohh i LOVE "walking on air". the video effects are amazing in that video..& she totally pulls a Criss Angel at the very end with the string going through her arms or whatever lol.

i didn't know she responds to fans, i figured she got too many messages for that since she's getting so big now. very cool

just wondering how, who, what happened, etc. etc.

some of you might know from the picture thread, but me & my friends became friends with Dean Cain's/Superman's brother when we saw his band perform in our town earlier this month. we went out to eat with him after we talked for a bit, then a week later hung out with him at another one of his shows & stuff. he's a cool guy. after a while you kind of forget he's Dean's brother..he's so laidback & freaking hilarious lol.

we don't talk about Dean around him though of course unless he brings him up. but sometimes i have to pinch myself haha cuz this like never happens.
