She may not have written it... but someone had to scratch out that god awful arrangement of Greensleeves...

The song itself is beautiful.. the arrangement could be done by nails on a chalkboard and sound better...

greensleeves has the most votes?? ive never even heard that song...
i hate painted black though, i hate the original and vanessa's version, even if the best musician on earth played that song id still hate it
however if some spunk wanted to serenade me with it, i wouldnt mind  :D

and other times i just cant stand it

i really love prince though.. i think the repetition just adds something to the song.. and greensleeves is great also! i bought the whole maybe this christmas cd.. just for that song hehe.

I though I had heard Paradise live until I realised it wasn't Paradise and I didn't have a clue what it was (turns out it was She Floats). I thought I didn't remember Paradise sounding like that!
Anyway, after very little deliberation the award must go to Pretty Baby. I haven't heard all the songs in the list though. She Floats and Carnival for instance.
