Tonight I thought Neil and lauren KILLED it!  They were my favorites of the night.  I don't know why, but I am having a hard time liking Lacey.  It might be because she's Benji's sister/Heidi's cousin and I am turned off by nepitism, (I also don't like Danny, travis' brother either), or if I think she over dances.  She has good technique but there's something about her I can't warm up to.  I love when Mia Michaels judges because she is so blunt.  She says things that any dance teacher would say and the corwd doesn't understand that 85% of what she says is positive.  It's the other 15% you have to watch out for!  It was a good show tonight and should be an interesting and difficult results show tomorrow.

Vote Neil!

I just mean, I couldn't see at all from the lawn seats so when I saw the pictures I could actually see what was happening on the stage.

You actually probably saw more than Jess or I did, even though we were at the foot of the stage.  the stage was very high up and the wall was the same height as Jessica, and when the crew set up for The Fray they were so spread out we could barely see anything until Hips Don't Lie when they had to be a foot away from us for us to get a descent look.  The speaker Ben stood up on at the end was right in front of us and blocked our view of the piano completely.  Jess did her thing though and shoved her camera in front of people and took pictures anyway.  That's why we heart her!

sooo I finally got to see them live tonight, after waiting almost 2 years.  They were absolutely amazing!  I was extremely impressed with their live performance.  Not to mention they jokingly did a cover of "Dance Like This" by Shakira and it was absolutely hilarious.  Mae opened for them and I loved them as well (of course, they're my favorite band), though it was my... 5th time seeing them live.  They played some new songs so that was cool.  The Fray did as well.  Great show.  Ok Go also played, don't really care for them too much.

What the hell Gina!  Jessie and I were there too, we were in the pit up front.  I wish we knew you were going too!!!  It was an awesome show, though.  I really liked Mae, and even though I didn't think I'd like OK Go I thought they were entertaining.

i've been interested in this musical for a while and was reading reviews on its webpage when i came accross a quick quote from Vanessa-

Spring Awakening is unlike anything I have seen on Broadway in a long time. It held the infectious and naughty energy of a rock show."

here is the link- http://www.springawakening.com/spring_awakening_reviews.php
scroll down a litte to the Celebrity Quotes section.

and anyone who hasn't heard the music or seen the show, DO IT!!!

Neil is from Buffalo! His sister had a viewing party last night.  I agreed with the judges that his salsa was not great, but hopefully next week he will get contemporary and can showcase his technique.  I was sad to see Rickey go, I liked him.

Holy crap I love Benji!

I've been listening to it more and more over the past day and played it for some friends who had either never heard of Vanessa or only knew ATM, and the reaction was 100% positive.  I can still see both sides of the argument that while it's a good song it might not be a commercial success.  But, having been a fan for so long I respect Vanessa more for staying true to herself than pandering to the mainstream audience of MTV, etc.  I'm just excited to hear new music, period.

I like it.  Does it blow me out of my Crocs?  no.  Does it suck?  Absolutely not.  the bridge = gold.  My favorite part of the song.  I like Heroes and Thieves better, IMHO.

I love stevie. I live in Rochester NY (west New York) and my sister in Albany. We are going to go together it is going to be a blast! She likes stevie a lot, and I vanessa.. The tickets are reasonable, the cheapest ones are 35 (lawn) you get to party, and dance, and still have the live music, just not close to the artist

Which venue are you going to Steve?

I was thinking going to Turning Stone because Stevie rocks my crocs, but I was turned off at the only available ticket price of $80.  However, that was before I knew Vanessa would be opening for her again.  Hmmmm.

I was 50/50 on Addison's new show.  Didn't like the plot, but loved the cast!  Amy Breneman, Taye Digs, Merin Dungy... and I would like to thank Shonda Rhimes for reuniting two former ALIAS villans, Francie and Sark!
