Title: Entertainment Weekly reviews "Nolita Fairytale"
Post by: bilsonite on August 14, 2007, 01:26:55 pm
VANESSA CARLTON, ''Nolita Fairytale''
These days, the folk-pop princess records for gangsta-rap impresario Irv Gotti's The Inc., but her piano-driven melodies remain as dreamy and delicate as ever. Her first single in two years is a shimmering burst of downtown-NYC bliss. (Album out Oct. 9) B+

I agree.....
I became a fan with Harmonium 2 monthes after it's release by chance.. did she get as much publicity for Harmonium as she's getting now(magazine articles and the like)?

She got a bit.  She toured like crazy, but the label support wasn't there.
I still don't know why A&M bothered releasing it if they were going to do such a stank-ass job supporting it, but that is the biz.
