I like all of the above sans beer (yech), but I have a special fondness for Bacardi 151 shots, chased by a nice vodka tonic.
I'm not an alcoholic, stop e-looking at me like that. >_>
So what do you guys enjoy? BV, I know you know how to toss them back.

I'm not old enough to, but I LOVE vodka!!!! :P
-
whiskey
-
Vodka is great, I got pretty demolished on 4th of July, hanging out with my BFF, sharing a bottle of Skyy and watching HSM and some other movies. XD
Later, I thought this was a bad idea, but it was fun while it lasted. :p
-
wine

rum!

A woman after my own heart. 8)

Beer.

When I first started drinking I would pick Whiskey straight with a chaser.
... yeh I cant do that anymore.
Now I'm a big fan of Vodka. Especially flavored vodkas. Pear is awesome.
But I will only drink it when I'm at a house party or something like that. If I'm out at a bar or club, I stick to Bud Light. It's a safe drink that I get buzzed but not wasted on.

Well i don't know why i'm quoting your post, but for some odd reason i'd like to point out my bird died 2 years ago on that day  [also the day Delta Goodrem was diagonosed with cancer]
But yea i dont drink, dont plan on it when im older either :)

Me too. Buy a big bottle of Vodka. And you can get different flavored diet sodas, my favorite is vanilla, wild cherry is good too. Then you don't have to buy the flavored ones and can still make Bloody Marys, Martinis, Srewdrivers and lately I've been making some blended banana, strawberry, lemonade beverages.
What do you mix the pear with? Or do you?
At the bar I like Vanilla Stoli and diet coke. I don't like Absolute Vanilla though. Guinness is always good too!! :)
-
Beer. lol. I used to like mixed drinks, esp ones with vodka and cranberry juice- but that stuff burns my stomach now and I've grown a taste for beer.
I don't drink much though, even so.
-
I like vodka with orange juice as a chaser.
-
rum all the way! :D
-
I like vodka with orange juice as a chaser.
So you shot vodka, then an orange juice?
Or do you mean you use OJ as a mixer?
Beer for me or Red WKD if I'm not in the mood for beer or vodka and diet coke if I'm on a strick diet

It depends on what kind of drunk I want to get. Usually, if I don't expect to have any prospects I get a beer like guiness or Heineken or some good beer like that. If I'm on a date nothing is better than happy horny red wine; Green Chartreuse seems to work as well. If I want to get smashed there are a whole host of options.
I hardly drink though and I've only drank alone (as in in my apartment by myself) once or twice in my life.
-
Maybe I've been drinking the wrong beer, but the two kinds I've had have been merely okay (Bud Light) to heinous (Corona).
if I want something low in alcohol, I just get some alcopop, like Smirnoff triple blacks. Tasty. 8)
-
my answer is "other" because since when is a 20yo college guy choosy? I mean we drink shit called mop water...

Lol, I don't like Bud Light very much (it's tolerable sometimes) and Corona is yuck. I like Yeungling with an orange best. I also like some of the wheat or pale ale Sam Adams. I don't typically like darker brews. But I'm by no means knowledgable on beers. But I'd try Yeungling if I were you- I like it. Mmmm. Esp. with the orange slice.

i don't drink... woooo.

I don't drink enough to get drunk practically ever. Like the last time I remember actually being drunk was years ago now. I'm not trying to promote drinking in large quantities, so I hope nobody thinks so =O

yes you've been drinking the wrong beer.
WHY does anyone drink budlight? why! it makes no sense.
-
Liquor is effective if you're looking to get drunk, as is fortified wine, but my stomach just can't really take it. So most of the time, I drink beer. And not no pissy-ass Bud Light shit neither. I like beer with some color and flavor. Sam Adams is really probably my favorite when I eat out and when I'm at home, and I like to have a Guinness every now and again, but that's not something I can drink often or a lot of at one time. Killian's Red isn't bad either, but it gets badmouthed a lot. Newcastle Brown, that's another one that I like, but that's really a "special occasion" beer for me because that's almost not even affordable around here. Any time I use beer in cooking though, I pull out the Pabst Blue Ribbon. Probably the best advice when it comes to baking or frying with beer in the recipe is not to use anything pricey.
-
yes you've been drinking the wrong beer.
WHY does anyone drink budlight? why! it makes no sense.
It's a step up from Natty Ice in terms of taste and it has fewer calories. Oh yeah, and it's cheap. Still not good reasons to drink it, but there you go.

Poor you. Newcastle is good stuff! :(

i've never heard of natty ice but judging by the name it sure sounds like the bottom of the food chain.
mmm new castle. yummy.

Yeah, but I'll have money someday.

Yeah. Natural Ice, also called Nasty Ice or Natty Ice by those who know. One of the cheapest beers by the case. I have a few memories of that I'll have to go into later because it's a long, long-ass story.

Vodka!!!! :P :P

Wine... as a Sommelier I get to try all kinds of wine, although I've missed
a couple of tastings in the last fortnight b/c I've just started a new job. I'm
down to the last third of my collection (which is off-site) so consumption is
2 bottles a week at best, but I've tried some really interesting stuff lately!
Peace
Aaron

i love being so drunk. sometimes after my class my friends and i have drinking session.
-
I don't like alcohol. I understand that people can love drinking alcohol just cause it's good (taste). I don't understand people who adore being drunk... :?
-
Don't drink. Too young. The idea of not being in control of myself scares me.
-
I love Smirnoff Apple Twist! It's tangy with a bit of a kick. It's refreshing too! :D
-
red wine.
-
As I have got older I only drink alcohol that I like the taste of. So for me I love bitter, bitter is a very English type of beer, also known as real ale, whenever I'm in London I love having a bitter called London Pride. It is available in Ireland in bottles but it is much nicer in a pub from the pump.
Also love red wine, Shiraz, Chianti and Merlot :)
-
I don't think I've ever had tequila.. I'm not a big drinker and I don't really like the taste of alcohol so when I do drink it's got to be tasty like a mojito or vodka and sprite with cranberry juice
-
Too young to drink ::) but even when I'm old enough, I don't think I'll be a big drinker. Being drunk doesn't sound very appealing to me. Haha. But, of the beverages that I've had, I like red wine and vodka with oj the best ;)
-
I've really been into vodka and redbull lately. yummm.
-
Vodka on ice with a splash on tonic and a lime slice. YUMMM
-
When I was younger Peppermint Schnapps was by far my favorite thing to drink. Oh my! I would get absolutely wasted......now I can't even smell anything with peppermint in it.
Lately I've been drinking this mixed drink at the bar called a Jolly Rancher. I'm not sure what is in it but it's delicious! kinda sour/sweet. watermelloney...YUM!!!!!!!!!! :-D
and beer...only thing I can kinda drink is bud light lime...or something with lime.
-
i tried force myself to like beer, but i can't. it tastes sooooooo bad, like what? how do people like it so much? but i'm still trying it, someday i'll like it ahaha

ahh ! same here. the only beer I like is bud light lime and even that's not that great!

Bulmer's cider for summer.
Pinot Griggio for all year round.
Straight vodka for winter.
Bailey's for Autumn.
Mojitos for spring.
-
yellow tail moscato!!!!!! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY!
-
I wish I knew : / I'm still underaged!
-
A glass of sangria while lounging on the beach listening to ROTR. Best summer afternoon EVER.
Flavored vodkas are another favorite. My friend brought over a pink lemonade vodka that was really good.
Bringing up the rear would be mimosas - there's a place by my apartment that has bottomless mimosas on sundays for, like, $10 or so - stoppppp.
In London I went to this place and had an "aztec dream" - it was vodka, baileys, and kahlua, garnished with chocolate syrup. Delish.
And I just absolutely hate beer. It tastes like weird bread to me haha.
-
My underage experiences have consisted of Smirmoff Ice and WKD. I reckon we should makes cocktail in V's name, I'm thinking Vodka (for obvious reasons) elderflower (which is delish) and pomegranate...
-
I'm currently sipping on Very Old Barton Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Very fine stuff. I usually seek out the Bottled-In-Bond variety, and I sip it neat. Beautiful. 8)
