Okay, this is a random question i just had, but every time people edit their posts, I see a little message like:

"Last edited by tricia on Tue Sep 28, 2004 11:38 pm; edited 1 time in total"

But whenever I edit my own posts, I can never see anything like that. Can you just not see it on your own posts? But then everyone *else* can see it? Or am I just weird, and it doesn't show up when I edit posts?

that appears if you edit your post after someone has already replied.
if no one has replied yet, no tag is added.

it annoys me, I always seem to have afterthoughts I wanna edit in.
