Now there's a reality dog show pagent thing or whatever the hell it is? WTF?

I'm too scared to even turn my tv on nowadays,8O...music, and my keyboard are now my sources of entertainment, lol

some of it is a little overboard, i.e. "Married By America" and some "Fear Factor" are kinda sick but people are dumb or smart, it's a matter of opinion to do it or watch it so yeah...but you are doing the right thing, don't watch if you don't wanna see it!!

Well in this country there are only 4 channels that you can get here without paying extra- thats why you just can't escape it here. Reality TV is only made because it is cheap under the facade that it is somehow 'true life'. We have 'I'm a celebrity... get me out of here!' where about 10 z-list are stranded in the Australian Outback for bloody ages. We have had about 100 series of Big Brother- ooh how thrilling to watch normal people scratching their arse.

I think some of the stuff is in good taste, but a lot of it is just tacky. The president of entertainment at ABC came into my class last month and she told us the only thing she is after is rating. They can be well aware of how crappy the show is, but they don't care as long as it does well. Its really sad, but that is how it works.

What will they do next? They will trick someone and make it look like their loved one has died. And a day later say TRICKED YA! I wouldn't put it past them.
