Well, when I listen to "Ordinary Day", I remember when I had this crappy work, and went out from my home at 5:30am, still night. I was always damn sleepy and in a bad mood...
I used to play Nessa's CD in my discman and listen to it in my way to my workplace. It obviously started with "Ordinary Day" and it always drawed a smile in my face and things didn't seem so bad... :D

erm Sway reminds me of.....I dunno, erm, when I listen to it I just think of relaxation....not any memories.

Well, when i hear paint it black, i think of how i missed her concert in milwaukee because of a pile up on the interstate....i walked in and she was just finishing that song and then said "thank you milwaukee!" and left. i was sad...like this ===> :cry:

Woah, I think all of BnN reminds me of SO much, but ATM is the song with the most memories attached to it. Mostly it reminds me of this guy who once said to me when, after I'd talked to him about the song and once he got to hear it, "that song is a bit about us" *sigh* :roll:

ATM just reminds me of a whole stretch of my life, where me and Rachel got so crazy about Vanessa and we'd check TRL everyday. You know some songs just capture a part of your life? ATM is that song for me. And ATR was just SO amazing- and watching Nessaholics on tv was just crazy!
And the lines "oh just the scent of you it makes me hurt, but how come its you that makes it better?" reminds me of this guy i was kind of involved with when BnN came out.

ATM reminds me of a time when I felt the same exact way. It was back in 1991 or 1992.

Ordinary Day rememds me of a sunny summer day in Conneticut. I used to live in Conn and i loved it. I guess the video mabye caused that feeling, because it looks alittle like an open field in Connectiut in the summer. :D

Oh Lord there are so many! Probably A Thousand Miles brings back my strongest Nessa memory. On 4/26 we were all just going nuts by the time she played it and we were dancing in the aisles singing along. Also Swindler (my favorite song) is pretty much the story of my life when it comes to relationships and I remember playing that song over and over after one particular break up.

My last school dance was Friday :( (lucky me, I'm Student Council President, and I got to pull my hair out planning it) They played ATM. I can't think of a better song to help close out the year!

If it makes you feel better, when I was little we lived on the highway (well not on the highway) and my dad ran over 1 cat, and someother people ran over 2 cats. We had Tigger, then Tigger got killed so we had Tigger 2, Tigger 3....

All of Nessa's sort of helps me deal with everything now...you know, everything I'm going thorugh in school, etc...you know, LIFE ......and dammit nevermind i dont know how to put it. whatever lol

The whole BNN reminds me the times when I was about 10, not long time before my dad moved out... I was listening to Vanessa a lot than. It wasn't really happy time in my life, but now I feel good when I recall it. Lol. I don't know why, it's weird... And that's why I like BNN so much now... :lol:

Twilight reminds me of 5th grade (back in 02/03)
when i had to read Island of the Blue Dolphins,
I'd listen to BNN and couldn't wait for Twilight to come on,
it was my favorite and it helped make the book a lot more
interesting.

1. The first time I really listened to Vanessa b/c ATM does not count.
2. My best friend Miriam. We always sang that song whenever we could.

I can realte to alot of songs but.
White Houses was the song that got me hooked reminds me of before everything changed, and how shocked I was to find out she is the ATM singer.

I pretty much base my life upon comparing situations in my life to situations in songs. And there are so many Nessa songs that remind me of a certain feeling or memory.
A Thousand Miles: It reminds me of when I was younger and I'd spend hours playing Spider Solitaire and singing ATM at the top of my lungs!
Ordinary Day: The summer before seventh grade.. when we'd go to the beach near by surrounded by never ending hills and meadows!
White Houses: Reminds me of dancing infront of my old friend's HUGE window, revealing a snowy backdrop! It was near Christmas time!!
Who's to Say: The Nessa song that got me hooked. My friend and I listened to it on her ipod standing outside in the school yard while it was freezing cold!
Annie: When my friend and I walked to the nearest Pizza Pizza in a blizzard.
San Francisco: This makes me so happy. Before my friend moved away, her, my other friend and I once sat out on my friend's lawn and talked all night under the stars, eating pizza and ice cream! I always think of that whenever I hear that song!!
This Time: Reminds me of last year, a difficult time for me, when my friend moved away and I felt alone, and I had to put up with an impossible teacher and friends who were excluding me. It was bad times, though Im not necessarily sad when I hear the song. It's weird. It just makes me feel a little strange, like there's a hole in my chest. But it reminds me of how that experience made me stronger, and I got through it.
ANND Nolita Fairytale reminds me of when my family, uncle,aunt, and cousin went to Centre Island in TO! That was the funnest day of my life! =)
There you go. I never realized how much significance Nessa's songs have in my life. It's so amazing..

Most of 'Be not Nobody' reminds me of being at Bible camp several years ago with only a tape player and not a CD player and my mom helping me find and order the album on cassette from Poland. I listened to it constantly when I wasn't in class or working.
