Vodka is great, I got pretty demolished on 4th of July, hanging out with my BFF, sharing a bottle of Skyy and watching HSM and some other movies. XD

Later, I thought this was a bad idea, but it was fun while it lasted. :p

I just saw the pics on my #1 source for trashy celeb gossip, ohnotheydidnt on LJ. I don't even know what to say other than LOL.

I mean, one of the other girls from HSM could have taken her down to Mrs. Chang's Tanning Salon, and hooked her up with a wax, damn.

I do hope she dosen't end up really being recasted with that Cheetah girl fof HSM3. I do like Gabrella, even though Sharpay is so much more awesome.

Did you know the dude that plays Hannah's brother is like, 30? >_>

I like all of the above sans beer (yech), but I have a special fondness for Bacardi 151 shots, chased by a nice vodka tonic.

I'm not an alcoholic, stop e-looking at me like that. >_>

So what do you guys enjoy? BV, I know you know how to toss them back.

lol, jen.

I admit, that Andrew has a point, as much as it pains me. Older children and ones from the proverbial crackhouses do have a harder time being adopted than cute babies.

And, of course, there's no guarantee that you'd have a loving home. There are all kinds of people, an unfortunately not all of them are nice.

But, by allowing gay people the right to adopt, these kids would still have that much more of a chance to get out of the system.

I could see where you're coming from, but the fact remains that there aren't enough straight couple out there adopting kids, and I think the possibility of being ridiculed for having two moms/dads is a small price to pay to have a family that loves you, instead of being a ward of the state and going from foster home to foster home.

Besides, kids (adults, too) can be complete jerks. Being made fun of pretty much comes with growing up. :/ If it wasn't gay parents, it'd just be something else stupid, like making fun of their shoes.

I think she only did it as a PR stunt because Ashley Tisdale's CD is pwning hers so badly.  8)

I'll look at the photos eventually, I guess. But I think I'll wait on the superior A.T. pics.

Don't stick to the status quo, twilight carnival. I'm sure if you give it a try, it could be the start of something new. HSM's soundtrack has already bopped to the top of the itunes top songs, so get your head in the game and check it out, it could be what you've been looking for in a great movie.

Yeah, I'm a fan. XD I love Sharpay. :)

The books are for children.  Why do adults insist on reading them?

She's a bad author who tells cute stories with no depth and no creativity.

Do. Not. Understand.

Now the movies, on the other hand, are cute summer fantasy stories.  Very enjoyable.  But the books.... if you aren't 12, I can show you 100 books that are infinitly better in the same genre.  And if you want to read kids books that badly, I can even one-up you there.

I guess I should just be happy that people are READING.

Reading between the trolling lines: Grakthis beats it to Emma Watson. The book has no pics of Emma Watson, and thus fails horribly.

Narnia is for kids, yet they're read and enjoyed by people of all ages. Lord of the Rings? Same deal. But why am I bothering with this? Grak is on my ignore list for good reason, and I'm on his for good reason. XD

BV wrote he disliked the first move. Well, I kinda do too. That and the sencond one. The books are the weaker entries in the series, and this translates onto the screen as well. Plus, Columbus sucked at directing them. O:)

OT, I voted for 4. I LOVE Goblet of Fire. Read though it when it came out in a couple of days, then once I hit the end, started over right on the spot. That was just great, before Harry went into his emo teen stage in Book 5, and when the books started to get darker.

Although I do like 5 and 7 (not my daughter, you bitch!) a lot too.

Also, whatever happened to "hit it & quit it?"  Why are all these gay people getting all lovey dovey all of a sudden, it's annoying.

That's normally just the guys. Lesbians are all about renting the U-Hauls after the second date.

And I'm joking, mods, whoever you are nowadays.

Haha, I remember this argument going on back in the old days here too.

I don't really have an opinion on gay marriage. I don't see myself marrying anyone, man or woman (unless Si accepts my long standing marriage proposal one day   ) anytime soon.

If it's legalised, it probably ought to be just called a civil union, because the shitstorm that ensues if it's called a marriage will be epic. It's just a word, and if you get the same rights and everything, isn't that enough?

Oh, and unlike the thread starter I can't stand Microsoft/X-Box. Blu-Ray all the way.

Blu-ray lol.

The list
NES (still works ^^)
Brick Gameboy (2 owned original and the clear; 1 lost, 1 stolen XD)
Gameboy Color (yey purple)
GBA SP (blue)
Super NES
Sega Game Gear
Sega Genesis (2, 1 still works)
Suoer Gameboy
Nintendo 64
Sega Dreamcast
Sony Playstation
Sony Playstation 2
Nintendo Gamecube
Xbox
Xbox 360
Nintendo DS

PS3 gets a big meh from me for now. Everything I want currently is either multiplat or exclusive to the Sexbox360. (Oh, man Mass Effect <3 )
XIII and MGS4 are in no way worth paying $599 for, so I'll wait to see if they get ported, or until the price goes down. I am looking forward to White Knight Story, and Suikoden 4 and Star Ocean 4, if those last 2 end up on PS3.

Of course the best JRPG is going to DS, Dragon Quest IX. ;)
