my favorite group is playing at jimmy kimmel the same night, & i'm gonna see them cuz i found a backstreet friend to go with me to the kimmel show & my mom doesnt wanna see Vanessa cuz of some fans & none of my friends like V.
So yeah..not going. oh well. i've seen my favorite group like 10 times & V only once but i have no way there :cry:

I have tickets for a Lakers game that night but I'm going to miss that game to see Vanessa.

I mapquested this and the place where I'm seeing hanson is only 2 blocks from where nessa is playing! There has to be a way to work this out. I can't not see her 2 blocks from me. I'm sure I'll have to miss the beginning or the end depending on what time hanson goes on but I will definitely be here at some point. I just have to.

Is it a indoor concert or outdoor? I went to a Joss Stone outdoor and they finished at about 9:15 because it goes on live in NY and you have to wait for the show before the concert starts so you might miss only 15 minutes unless you want to wait to see Hanson leave from the show.

well, if my cousin doesn't get the tickets for free I'm not going. Because like you Jessica, last time I spent so much money just on two tickets. Its bogus! So yeah...hopefully I'll be there.

I ordered tickets for the Chicago show on th 18th through ticket master and I got two tickets at 20.00 each I was like ok thats not bad I am sure with taxes it should be around 45-50 bucks...yeah it was all 60 bucks! oh well at lest I get to go!

There was a $7.95 fee per ticket and a $4.05 total handling fee.

if you go to an actualy ticketmaster booth.. instead of ordering it online... there's not as many charges. there's still some. just instead of it being $10 more, it's like $4 or $5. :D

who wants to go to a booth at 10am to buy from an unhappy employee. It used to be such a pain trying to get Laker tickets like that.

It really should cost less if you are ordering it online. I don't even order tickets that often and it seems high. They are just ripping people off and taking advantage. I haven't ordered a ticket since 2002.

thats so true.. they charge you MORE fees when you're ordering on a computer... but less fees when they actually have to pay a PERSON to get your tickets for you.... makes no sense. i like how they call it a CONVENIENCE fee too.... what is so convenient about being overcharged. damned monopolies.
i usually try to buy the ticket directly from the venue's box office (like at the roxy) i only paid 3 dollars extra per ticket. but I called the Ivar and they said that they only sell tickets 1 hour before show time. and i wanted to get my tickets ahead of time.....

though i do wish i could see vanessa again, sigh. maybe for my birthday since i dont have any other concerts planned then like i do now for Christmas. thats also another reason my mom didn't wanna take me, cuz im already seeing the spice girls in LA.

Well since its the holiday season and I work at a coffee shop (really fast paced) I'm extremely exhausted from that, and from school. I'm so stressed and I was hoping to just go casual and the guy I'm going with wants to dress all fashionable! So thats what I'm debating, school and work stress.

yep, not going - unless anyone has an extra ticket - because i started this new job where i make more money but a lot less hours and i can't really afford the majority of my bills let alone a these pricey ticketmaster tix which sucks cause i wanted to go to this and to see "the swell season" at the wiltern but - just can't afford it - that's life - c'est la vie.

& steph, if you cant get a ticket i'll get you one if i have enough money (i gotta check)..in return for a ride there lol driving to & in LA freaks me out. my mom can probably meet us in anahiem hills or somewhere since its halfway after the show if i ask her cuz the bsb thing im not going to anymore. but i doubt you'd wanna come all the way to Temecula, i'm an hour & a half away

dont worry most of the time the box office gets the tix that didnt sell on-line so im sure that if you go to the ivar box office they will have some.

If its sold out already? Like physically gone to the Ivar and asked. Or called. I'm in Ontario, and I don't feel like driving to LA just to find out its sold out. Haha. Not like I'm not out there every tuesday and friday night anyways.. Haha

So I drove down to LA today to see if I could buy tickets (like anyone cares). However I was stopped before actually getting to the Ivar because I called and got though to a person who works at the Ivar and they said that you can only buy tickets at livenation.com or whatever, or though ticketmaster. Spend an hour looking for a ticketmaster but they said they were sold out...
But when I talked to the guy at the Ivar he said that they will sell tickets at the venue tomorrow at seven. However this was before finding out that the tickets were sold out at ticketmaster. So, will they still be selling tickets even if the show is sold out.. I dunno if I should go tomorrow and try to buy a ticket.
Im kind of irritated knowing I could have maybe bought the tickets I wanted a week ago. But my laziness prevented me from doing so...
I hope we don't have to wait another three years before getting a new CD with another tour.. :(.
Thank you Maria for the number to the Ivar. Haha, I'm going to bug them tomorrow and try to see if they maybe selling tickets. There should be more shows in LA if they're going to sell out. Maybe even one in Anaheim or something like in Orange county.
