V loves vodka, so I was just wondering what brands people favor?

My fav's have to go to Smirnoff and Absolut.

Has anyone tried Russian Standard? I want to try it, but wanna know peoples opinions.

I would go with Skyy or belvedere as well. But generally I don't have a lot of money so I go with something a little bit cheaper like Svedka.

If you drink Absolute or smirnoff you hate yourself or have no taste buds. Drink drain cleaner. It's an easier way to make yourself suffer.

Rain is the best Vodka you've probably never had. It's really clean with a slight hint of vanilla. Grey Goose, Belvedere and Ketel One are all good clean vodka's without a lot of bite to them. Exactly what you want in a top shelf sipping vodka. I'm also never disapointed in Finalandia, though it has a bit more spice to it than most.

edit: lolz. BV not only drinks flavored vodka, but he listens to paramore. Seriously, do you wear skirts yet? Or does your mommy refuse to let you dress like a big girl?

As a Sommelier I probably have a palate more sensative to "ordinary Vodkas"
so I have found brands like Wyborowa & Belvedere rock! My preference is for;

A) Polish
B) Rye based
C) Quadruple distilled
D) Certified Organic

Alcohol doesn't have to taste like shit to be good. (see Corona :x ) ^5 board alkie BV for fighting the stigma.

On that note, Grey Goose is really smooth, and Skyy is okay, but it has too much bite to drink straight imo. Of course, I have no problem doing so when I'm already deep in the cups... 8)

My favourite is Grey Goose but at £26 a bottle I only really drink it in bars. I buy Finlandia to drink at home. As long as it's not supermarket own brand or anything else cheap and crappy I'll drink it, though wouldn't drink Smirnoff etc straight. Bleurgh.

Nothing wrong with flavoured vodkas. They make great cocktails.
