Thanks for that. Looks like they go on sale May 16 although I won't be surprised if they already had a pre sale.  :roll:

Vanessa Carlton will not perform at Mid-State Fair

There’s a new opening act for Tuesday’s Matchbox Twenty concert at the California Mid-State Fair due to a last minute cancellation Monday by singer Vanessa Carlton.

Personal reasons were cited for Carlton’s cancellation, fair officials said.

Fair officials replaced Carlton with Hodges, a Texas artist from Matchbox Twenty lead singer Rob Thomas’ record label.

I wouldn't be surprised if she's been warned about missing another show. Not that it was her fault but she probably doesn't want to chance it. Not to mention all that cross country flying isn't good for you. I also think she needs to fly a different airline. Not that I know if she has had trouble on the same one.

Glad I didn't get tickets for that.

It was just an un-real tour schedule.  I think the tour with Radin was booked after this show..don't know why they waited so long to annouce that this show was going to be canceled.   Personal reasons?  More like un-real travel timing. Tour managers not doin' their job. ;)

I'm glad my parents didn't let me go, it woulda been like over $70 a ticket.

that's really strange because she called for her own cab to the airport as soon as she walked off stage after the philly show last night. i am going to be pissed as hell if she ended up playing at the birchmere with joshua radin tonight. PISSED, I TELL YOU! lol
