Don't pay attention to the video unless you want to, no I did not do any of it. Anyone else here of songs like this?
I found it good in a sort of way, felt transcending. Then again, I'm all for the odd kind of music.

Thanks!
VERY interesting.
-
heck, i love it :] i think we should reverse more nessa songs. can anyone enlighten me as to how to do it?
-
I wish there wasn't that weird beating thing that happens in reversing sounds... wonder what it would sound without it.
-
thats funny cause i have a sound thing on my phone, i can speed up, reverse, slow down, etc and i did it to heroes and thieves, and she still sounds AMAZING
-
I like it, sounds ethereal, like she's singing in a different language. :D

-
Sounds so cool
-
Anyone have one of those expensive programs that allows you to edit songs?
If one had one we could do it, but they cost at least a few hundred dollar wise.
-
You can use Audacity to reverse songs.
-
This sounds like..a weird anime kind of thing. Haha it sounds really cool though.

agree, it has a good effect with the video though :)
-
it does, i have no idea what the video is, but it goes well with the people.
-
What's audactiy and where do I get it?
Both videos are from final fantasy (I think it said in the description).

Cant u just open the song in WINDOWS MEDIA SOUND RECORDER or whatever its called?? (usually located under accessories=>entertainment in the start menu)
Thats how i do my reverse songs....then u just do 'effects' and then 'reverse'...but i think it might have to be a certain type of file to open up...
idk  :D

Audacity Rocks! :D

Someone reversed Vanessa's performance of Hands On Me at the US Open and it sounds pretty neat. It's very ethereal backwards, I guess, if you wanted to describe it somehow. But at one point she sounds like she's screaming, "Something something LISA! Something something LISA!" lol
Here it is -

ok so i downloaded that, and then recorded it on my phone, then i reversed it, and it was normal!
-
I can't use windows media player, since my dad decided to get my replacement computer (my old one had the motherboard melt) who is pretty much incompetent and decided not to use real windows, nor use any good components.
-
Since I now use the WMA format almost exclusively for my music files now, as it saves the time having to convert MP3's to WMA to rip them to my phone, I can't use Audacity to edit them, but I did find a program called EXPStudio Audio Editor that will work with WMA's as well as convert them to other formats.
-
I have no clue how to get audacity to work with itunes.

I have no clue how to get audacity to work with itunes.
It probably won't because iTunes files are saved in a proprietary format. You'll have to get a program that can convert iTunes files into something like MP3. I'm sure download.com has something that can help.
-
thanks i'll try it there.

I know that musicians dont do it on purpose most of the time but... Backmasking scares me alot. Just the way the song sound not always what they say its just creepy.

The only thing I heard in White Houses backwards was her saying " I hate my lips" LOL. But it was pretty cool to hear too. I marked it in my faves!! :D
