Title: Thousand Miles - Vanessa Carlton ft. Counting Crows (2002)

Ever heard this A Thousand Miles version? It's Vanessa ft. Counting Crows (with whom she had performed "A Big Yellow Taxi") It's a really great cover. The guy has a very soft voice. Loved it. What do you think?

The amazing thing is Adam's voice pairs as well will Vanessa's when the roles are reversed! To think they were able to record separate tracks for BYT without
having to be in the same studio is amazing... this just proves how good the choice of Vanessa for BYT's backing vocals was by the producers! For the record VC
has reached the #1 position on Australia's ARIA Charts just twice... firstly with ATM in 2002, and then with BYT for CC in 2003 (it show on wiki as just #3 :-? )

Wow this is really beautiful!  I can't believe I haven't heard this before...thanks for the link!

I thought at first that this was just gonna be another ATM cover...but I LOVE this..their voices seem to fit really well :)
