Whoa  :o I really, really don't like it. It's waaaay to hardcore, it totally murders the concept & theme of the song. If someone was to cover the song hopefully it's someone like Jason Mraz who at least has a similar style. We only get Victoria Justice, David Archuletta, and this lol

I believe its covered in concerts a lot by tons of other artists...I believe Simple Plan has covered it in concert.  I'm sure there will be tons of more covers...it's crazy how widely known this song is.  It just had one of those riffs that less than a second into it you already know what song it is ya know? It was an instant classic.

Holy guitar riff! (Batman!)

I didn't like that. Not at all. Forgive me for wanting any cover of "A Thousand Miles" to be in approximately the same vein as the original, but I think that sucked.

i really do wish that people would leave this song alone. when someone else sings it, it's not the same! People have seriously butchered A Thousand Miles.
Omg. the half hearted hero version is awful.

Ouch, that's god-awful. It's actually kinda cool to hear the melody played on guitar like that - all is good until they start "singing" (or is that "sing-ranting")?

I read a description of Vanessa Carlton's music once that basically said, when she sings she goes off into her own little world and takes you there with her. That cover absolutely does not.

Maybe it sounded bad for us, but to those who are on the same page with them, I think they've got a different perspective.

Yeah, it's a totally different style, so I guess from their eyes it'll all be good.
I like a lot of "harder" music though, so I'm not biased that way.
