I like to think of myself as mildly creative, but I need help! I have about 50 to 75 left over votive candle holders from my wedding that I have no idea what to do with. It's not like I can donate them because they have our names and our wedding date on them (in silver). Does anyone have any idea what I could do with them (besides recycle, because I'd really like to not throw them away!) I had thought about breaking them and making a mosiac of sorts, but they are all clear glass so there wouldn't be much to look at and would the glass be too sharp?? I'm stumped, please help!

It really depends on what they look like! If you could provide a picture, that would be great!

ok, I'll try to get one up in a little while!

ok here it is, sorry for the glare, I had a heck of a time. The pic I took with my digital camera was too big to post so I had to finagle something with the web cam!

why not just keep them like that and use them to drink from? i i know that wasnt vety creative but to me, it looks like a drinking glass. Congrats btw!

buy some glass spray paint to cover the etching...then buy a candle making kit and make your own candles and pour the wax in the glasses. use them or give them away as gifts.

They're so pretty! I'm the most uncreative person alive, but I also really like WhiteRabbit's idea of using them as drinking glasses. They're definitely too pretty to modify or throw away, so those are out of the question. How about using them as flower pots? That way you get to keep the holders and have pretty flowers growing out of them!

i think these would be too special and personalized to really get rid of! i do like the plant idea, it would be cute.

Thanks for the info. They are actually quite small to use for drinking glasses (they are about shot glass size). Flowers might be a good idea! I also like the glass spray idea. Thanks a lot!

My mom says you can use artificial flowers; they're easier to maintain! Stack them up really close together, they'll look pretty in a bunch.

I agree. Maybe you can even hang them while keeping them close.
