Title: Sara Bareilles Sheet Music
Post by: [sobriquet] on January 31, 2011, 02:01:19 am
Does anyone have sheet music for her songs, particularly for "Hold My Heart" and "Breathe Again"?

I don't have the sheet music, but I know some of the notes to a lot of her songs. I could type them out if you want to. Just let me know what song

Mmm.... Hold My Heart and Breath Again, if you would. Thanks in advance.

There is Hold My Heart. I learned it from there.

I'll type out Breathe again later today.  :)

This is Breathe Again. You'll have to forgive me that this comes out a bit weird because I have never been that great at transcribing sheet music. This could be bad! Bad in terms of me writing it down. It sounds like the actual song I assure you.  :)

Intro
Right Hand - Basically, it's playing between F and C. (F, C, F, C *short break*, C, F, C)
Left - F and C, then C and G, then G, and D, then D and A

Each time you play a different chord on your left hand, it's the same thing being played over again on the right.

"at the comfortable glow"
Right hand - still the same as the intro
Left hand - F and C played together, G and D, then D and A
*Optional: when you play the G and D, you can go up to another G

Chorus:
Right Hand - C, F, C, F, C, F (etc)
Left hand - F, G, A, Bb

The next verse is the same as the first except that it is an octave lower and the left hand becomes octaves.

Bridge
Right hand - F, C, F, C, F, C (etc)
Left Hand - Db, Bb, Ab

That's all I have figured out.

PS: I figured out Uncharted awhile ago. It's on that website I posted. Here's a direct link to it.

No prob.

If you wanna hear a stripped down version of it to better understand, here is where I learned most of it from

Thanks for that! I already learned Uncharted and it is not as hard as I thought it was.

And I must say, you're very good at making transcriptions. Thanks again.
