I only just found out he's an American Jazz player and he's played with Lindsey Buckingham a few times. Maybe it was he who introduced Lindsey to Vanessa?

Either way, it's cool there's two Carlton's in the industry!

Well, her mother's a pianist. Her father's a musician too, I think. I guess their family is music-oriented in someway.

How about her siblings?

I listened to some of Gwen's stuff years ago. I liked it - she reminded me of an early Regina Spektor. What kind of stuff is she doing now?

I agree. Sounds like Regina, but with the dark notes from Vanessa.
