Joe, thats kind of a bizzare question.  It's like saying "What if you took a bannana and made it taste, look, and feel like an apple, then would you like it?"

What are you REALLY trying to find out?  If people think Britney has a good voice, inspite of the fact that she sings bad songs?

In other words, if she had better taste in music, would she suck less?  Not really.  Her voice kinda sucks all around.

no I mean, people don't like her lip synching on stage, but I bet, if she done stuff live, and had a band, they would say she was copying other bands or something...it was just random.

many singers don't have great voices, but people like them, because the way they sing their lyrics and it touches them in a way.

Good point Joe, there are a LOT of bad singers that people love.  And there are a lot of Average singers that people love because of WHAT they sing and HOW they sing it... not how good their voices are.  So who knows.

There are Elle's in lots of different countries in europe, they are probably not from the British Elle though- i think they're rather degrading and c'mon if you can airbrush wouldn't it be better to!? lol

haha...what is with guys and asses?????? It's either "I'm the big booty type" or "I really like big racks". I just don't get it but...lol that made me laugh.


I like Britney. Her best CD yet I thought was Ooops I did it again. That was such a great cd. I still listen to it sometimes. And Britney was ok...my favorite song was #12...I forget the name though...but it was good. And I have a big poster of her in my room from the pepsi world tour she went on...they were at 7-11 for free so I took like 10. I hung one in my room and the other ones I'm saving to put on ebay someday when I'm allowed to. Yup. I'm sooo cool!! I'll take a picture of it someday!!!!

They played it on the local pop station.

1. It sucks real bad.
2. What are the odds it was with Madonna

oooo i saw her perform it yesterday on that abc thingy she did. i really like it. it was just her singing, no technologically altered crap or fakeness to it.

you should!  It's a HUGE departure from previous albums, even Slave for You and Bombastic Love.  It's a lot of trance and house music influenced.  I looooooooooove it!  The best songs to check out are Showdown, Toxic, The Hook Up, and Everytime.

I just got it, listening to it now. The lady asked me if I wanted the free Britney Spears poster, I looked at her like she was crazy. But I got it anyway, so if you want it let me know.

I like what I have heard so far. I know she can't sing live at all but this cd stuff is good. I don't know why she lied when Diane Sawyer asked her if she lip syncs. I do like her though still she reminds me of my friend Angela when she lets that accent come out.

I just watched her 3 club surprise appearance show on mtv about 1 hour ago. She had that Southern accent bigtime. She was lip  syncin' for shizzle. She danced her ass off though. I actually like her as a person and think she gets too much shit all the time from the press and everything. She's just a regular cute Southern girl next door. :wink:

She is a bloody amazing dancer- it has to be admitted. She has the BEST choreographer too, but the thing is i don't think many people realise how hard it is to dance like that, let alone sing at the same time. Hmmm, no excuse though.

you know i think she isnt lip syncing

i saw her on leno and of course they have her singing on a track in the background but....

she was singing into her mic - it was on a very low volume though

but she was actually singing...

it is so hard when you are dancing that much to get a good strong vocal tone while you must be working up a sweat and are very out of breath

whats going on with the singles? on kiis there are 3 on rotation, "boom boom", "outrageous", and "toxic". and then ofcourse "me against the music". did she do that on purpouse? its like the same thing that was happening with Eminem and "the eminem show". same kinda pattern! or are radio stations playing them even tho theyre not singles? anyone know? i'm kinda confused! lol. but i like it... since there are more songs to play i dont get sick of them as easily

The official single is going to be "Toxic"!  :D
They were debating on what it was going to be... and kiis jumped on Outrageous, but Britney really doesnt like Outrageous. So yeah, it's going to be Toxic.
I'm both excited and not about that... I LOVE this song! but kiis will play the hell outta it and kill it!
Even my mom likes Toxic, lol, i asked her which of the 3 she liked just for fun.
I think it's going to do awesome!!

I hope i can go see her on tour... it'll be March 8th here! I saw her "Dream within a Dream" concert twice and she is really good live! sure she lip syncs... but it's entertaining. and she does really sing some of the songs, like I'm sure she would "everytime".

The album has some Folk influences like some Arabian sounds coming from Outrageous the Ging ging ging makes me laugh and then some oriental sound from The Touch of My Hand its strange to hear from Britney

and when she sings this in Brave New Girl it reminds me of Stephan Hawking

Ooh.. we learned about folk music in my Chorus class. We sang this one folk song. It was so cool.. it was called "Hey Ho" (it was like a Christmas song) it wen't like "hey ho nobody home eat nor drink nor money have I none"  we could not get through the whole song without cracking up!   LOL!

oh my gosh people- I just cannot believe I'm seeing Britney on Tuesday! It is going to be so awesome.. I can't wait to hang out with my friend from Choir, ahh! I'm so ready for it.. and I'm actually looking forward for Kelis.. yeah weird. At first I totally hated her and couldn't stand her, but she is actually pretty cool!

I sware Tuesday at school is going to take forever lol.. it's gonna be so funny if the day after the concert I come back with my voice out- that usually happens to me. And now I'm in Choir, so that will be interesting if my voice is out the next day, haha. I'm a dork...

oh, i don't think that is a "town" really... there is a "Bristow Rd" around there and i think that is just a little housing subdivision.  It doesn't show up as Bristow on maps.yahoo nor microsoft streets and trips.  I shall investigate one of these days.  Thanks for enlightening me!

Wow- amazing concert!!! It felt like I was at an amusement park or something haha..

Well Britney ended up not being at the afterparty she was too tired (I don't blame her, opening night and all I would be tired too!) but my teacher did get to meet Kelis! They are like friends now.. lol Kelis & Nas are friends with my teacher and her husband, too cool. I'm gonna get Kelis' cd today & Kelis & Nas are going to be at my teachers house on sunday for a BBQ & to hang out & stuff so I'm giving my teacher my Kelis cd tomorrow for Kelis to sign :)

But anyways.. now to the concert! It is kind of hard to describe it.. you kinda just had to be there, BUT I will say that "Everytime" & "Shadow" were the best performances in my opinion.. I cried during Everytime lol I'm such a dork! Britney has been going through some hard times these past 6 months- so people don't be so hard on her...

There was another opening act- her name was Skye Sweetnam, me & my friend got to meet her after her performance & we got a pic. with her. It should be on her website in a bonus section thingy but I guess they haven't posted ours yet I am still waiting.. I will post it for you guys when I get it!!! :) she was really sweet!

I'm not familiar with her old stuff but she did sing a lot of her songs. I remember I loved the song I hate you, and of course Milkshake lol

Well maybe because nobody knew who she was and we wanted to see Britney already some people were booing the Skye girl and the lady next to me kept complaining about the opening acts I was like "shutup already! it's gonna be another two hours" well I didn't say the first part, I just told her the two hours part lol but yeah Skye was pretty good. I'm gonna have to listen/ find some more of her songs to listen to, but she is decent. REALLY nice!

Britney Spears isn't going to kill herself in her next video after all — she's killing the suicide concept.

According to a treatment MTV News obtained for Spears' "Everytime" video, the singer was going to appear to have taken pills and drowned in a bathtub. Camera tricks and surprise plot developments were designed to keep the results somewhat mysterious (see "Britney Spears' Puzzling New Video Has Singer Drowning In Fame"). But Spears has decided against using those scenes — which she maintains were meant to depict accidental death, not suicide — and has revised the concept for the clip accordingly.

"Britney Spears was uncomfortable with these treatments due to the potential for a fictional accidental occurrence to be misinterpreted as a suicide," read a statement released by her label on Friday (March 12). "Ms. Spears revised the treatment to ensure the video for 'Everytime' will not have a scene in it that could in any way be perceived as a reference to a suicide."

After news of the video's concept broke, Spears was criticized by those who perceived it to be a glamorization of suicide. MTV News' You Tell Us received numerous letters from upset people like 24-year-old Fey of Beverly Hills, California, who wrote: "Leave it to Britney to exploit suicide. ... I lost a brother to suicide and am disgusted with her. Killing yourself is not glamorous, it won't set you free, and it will destroy everyone who loves you."

"Britney Spears' video 'Everytime' should not be shown," 18-year-old Amber of Wataga, Illinois, wrote. "Suicide occurs at an alarming rate, and this video seems to glorify it. ... I have lost a friend to suicide, and the concept of this video disgusts me."

The singer's label said it was not her intent to present suicide in any sort of positive light and that she hopes people who are considering suicide seek help. "[Spears] does not endorse [suicide] as a solution to any individual and fully recognizes that people who go to this length need assistance and advice and should contact their local suicide prevention organization," the statement read.

The shoot for "Everytime" is scheduled for this weekend in Los Angeles.

Wow this is just like a "let's bash Britney day" or something isn't it? sheesh

No freakin duh killing yourself is not glamorous & I think Britney knows that.

I sware some people just drive me insane when they critisize Britney like this... it's obviously sad if they lost someone to suicide, but honestly, are they really thinking that Britney is saying "go kill yourself, it will set you free!" ? Be realistic people. My gosh.

someone had told me that she commits suicide in it... so when i saw it i was like "what? they percieved that as suicide?" cause in the final cut it's obviously just her fainting... but then i read that it had been changed.

I'm not really a Britney fan, but her songs aren't that bad.  And I don't think having a superb voice is key for being a great singer...Brit doesn't have a good voice, but I'm sure that she probably throws the most entertaining shows ever.  Plus she is an awesome dancer, no one can dance like her.

BTW, does anyone know if Showtime will air the Onyx Hotel Show again?

Oh & Britney doesn't have that great of a voice... she did at once, but she just doesn't show it anymore that much like with Toxic, but Everytime is a BIG improvement, I'm impressed (being in Choir & hearing singers everyday) but yeah for the most part she doesn't have that great of a voice. Mariah Carey doesn't either, she does but she doesn't. She is a breathy singer... Britney just tries to make her songs poppish sounding. If you don't sing right, it can hurt your vocal cords or something I think my Choir teacher said. I dunno if that's exactly what she said tho, but yeah lol

Britney has consistently put out passable pop music throughout her career. However fake her voice sounded on In The Zone, it was good pop stuff. If she's with good producers for this next album, then I think she may have another hit, sadly enough. She's definitely getting a lot of press. I have a feeling that some of this is a PR stunt, to be honest.

Oh, and she's going crazy. But that's how we love our celebs her in Amurrica!

I think she did it purposley. No one in her camp was going to let her walk out there performing & looking like that. It's just too much of a coincidence. I think she did bad to really get the ball rolling for her album and to keep people talking...I mean if she performed well, people would say "well okay, the old Britney is back" and it would end there. This way people will continue to speculate, talk and poke fun, thereby keeping her in the news & keeping steam for her album going strong...

I'm not sure she'd think that far ahead. I mean maybe someone could think of it for her, but do you think she could really ACT that way? And it wasn't just her performance, you can tell she hasn't been working out as much and that outfit did nothing but highlight that fact.

it was mentioned later that chris angel was no longer involved with her performance.  they were going to do a disappearing act, where she disappeared from the stage and reappeared in the audience, but it couldn't happen because of some "safety issues".

I saw it.

I laughed.

I always hope to watch people do their best, put on a great performance, really do well... unfortunately this wasn't britney's night.

If she was up late the night before, she should have partied less, gotten her ass in bed and been ready for her "comeback" performance if it was so important to her.

I think she looks damn good after having two kids, but I wouldn't have worn that outfit... her body isn't what it was years ago.

I realize it is hard to walk in heels that high... hey, don't wear 'em

On the lipsyncing thing... yea, put a bit of effort into it.

Maybe this will cause her to take a step back, evaluate and do a real comeback performance.

But this VMA's thing was, err, something else. She really seemed bored and looked like she didn't wanna dance.

I mean, I feel stupid for feeling bad for a celebrity, but when every single day she is in the tabloids- no matter what she's doing- it's annoying. I think anyone in her position right now would be a bit messed up! If she is on drugs it's probably so that the constant presence of paparazzi in her life isn't as obvious and apparent to her at all times. That'd be so aggrivating.

Paula Abdul has been through probably the same amount of shit Britneys been through when it comes to media & personal lifes. I said I was feeling sorry for her till I heard she was partying, but I take that back. I still feel sorry for her because no one deserves the crap the media throws at celebs when they are already feeling like crap. I forgot they showed Paula breaking down on her show with all the rumors, I can imagine Britney's feeling pretty shitty right now too. Paula never parties and Britney does, but I still feel bad for her. Especially for her hardcore fans.

I agree with Kanye West when he said MTV was probably trying to exploit her. Don't they have to preview performances before they air??

Well, it's not their responsibility to protect her, they gave her a space in their show(wich was a great chance to do her comeback) and it was up to her to use it well, and she just didn't.

I have recently fell in love with Britney (not in the literal sense.) The reason she stumbled around on the stage at the VMAs, was because her heel broke, and you can see it clearly at some points it isn't in the right place and is moving around. If she had moved the wrong way, she could of broken her ankle. Yet, she manages to click it back into place towards the end of the performance, hence why the dancing got better later. As for the lip-synching, that is a whole 'nother issue :razz:.

Well, I am not sure WHAT caused her to act all wild and messed up. Maybe since when she started dating Kevin. I mean she was okay and she was just another competition against Christina Aguilera and Jessica Simpson. Just, you can't even say oh Christina and Britney are alike in a way Britney just so hasn't calmed down. From what I hear I would guess Christina Aguilera calmed down(I don't really have any respect for her though, she's just..needs to stop showing off her body..just kind of offensive to me being a girl). A small part of me wants to feel bad for Britney but I don't know, I just feel she's kinda too fake for me. She doesn't sing her own sings, doesn't write her own songs, I just think she's out of control and I think she needs help. I mean sure it be great if she can pull though and make it back all healed. Yes it is their responsibility. They knew this was going to be a huge deal for her career, if they REALLY wanted to help her they would've made sure she was back to her old self since people were already doubting her before the performance even aired.

& for the person who said her heal broke, yeah I heard that too on my radio station. They have video on their website to show proof, so I hope thats all that it was. If anyone wants to see the video, just search 94.1 san diego

she's sang live MANY times. i don't like when people say things about her that they have no idea about. i feel like we need to have an open mind about other music... even if we don't like it. how many times have you heard people say things about vanessa? i know when i talk about vanessa to people, they just assume she's another one of those pop stars with little or no talent. they don't know that she's actually a very talented and passionate musician.

ok so far the album is ok I guess the people who wrote the songs kinda wrote songs a bit better than previous cd's but really is a turn off is a lot of it sounds just computerized its to techno for me I don't know I mean I thought Nine Inch Nails Year Zero was too computerized but not compared to this well the NIN one is just more toberable for me I guess

I don't even know WHEREEEE to begin.
Monday, October 29, 2007.
The place: Virgin Megastore, Hollywood, California.
The time: 6:30 - midnight.
The setting: amazing Britney fans and Chris Crocker (ew).

We were THE VERY FIRST PEOPLE in line.
But I'm not surprised hahaha.
I would have it no other way!

Ok so we got there at 6:30 and no one was there until like 10 hahaha.
Finally people started lining up with us and the media started to trickle in.
The cameras LOVED us and by us, I mean me, Chelsea, Mackenzie and Andrew.
It was hilarioussss and seriously... last night is still a complete blur.

Our shirts were absolutely GENIUSSSSSSS.
The fronts said I'm Mrs./Miss/Mr. and the backs said:
"OMG that Britney's shameless" - mine.
"Extra! Extra! This just in..." - Andrew.
"Lifestyles of the rich and famous" - Mackenzie.
"American dream since I was 17" - Chelsea.

They looked BOMB.COM, I kid you not.
EXTRA was filming us the entire time, it was great.
We got SOOOOOOOO many people to sign The Book and I even read a couple passages to EXTRA.

The guy from TMZ came up to us and asked to talk to us on camera and I was like, "NO! TMZ doesn't like Britney."
And he was like, "Oh come on, yea we do."
And then I was like, "Well Britney doesn't like you!"
And he was upset cuz we didn't talk to him hahaha.

THEN CHRIS CROCKER SHOWED UP!!!
OMG I CAN'T STAND HIM!!!!!!!!!!!
All the cameras immediately went to him and he was eating up all the attention.
And as I was eavesdropping, I heard him point to us and say, "Even though they're in the front of the line, they're not true fans... I'M her number 1 fan!"
I was soooooooooooo mad!!!
HAHAHAHA and then our friend from EXTRA was like, "You're a gross whore!"
That was seriously like the greatest moment of my life because then Chris turned around and was like, "You want to take this outside?"
And we were like, "Um... we are outside?"
And we booed him like every single time he walked by.
It was sooo funny.
And he's a giant liar... when you watch that video of him saying that we're stupid or whatever cuz we thought he was gonna cut in line, but he really just wanted to go inside the store... HE'S LYING!!!!!!!!!!!
We totally heard him talking to his boyfriend or whatever like scheming out how he was gonna get in front of us.
And in the video, he was like, "If anything, I'm a bigger fan because I'm gonna wait in the line and it just proves that I would wait hours for Britney."
EXACTLY YOU IDIOT! That's why we got there so early to be in the front!
UGH he's disgusting and I really don't like him.

So anyway, as midnight was getting closer, they started playing songs from the cd and we (the 4 in front) were dancing the entire time, it was great.
FINALLY it was 12 and we went in and bought the cd.
When we came out, there were flashes EVERYWHERE!
Me and Andrew went to go get more people to sign The Book and this one guy told us that Britney was in the parking garage so we SPRINTED, but there was no sign of her.
We talked to the parking security guy (cuz we still didn't know if the first guy was lying to us) and he told us that Britney came and was gonna get out of her car, but tons of people immediately swarmed her car and she left like 3 minutes after pulling in.
I was so mad/jealous that we didn't get to see her!!!!
Oh well, I'm convinced I will meet her in time.

Ok, all the videos you've seen of Chris Crocker arguing... that's us hahaha.
And when he's talking about the dumb fans... that's us.

yea it is ridiculously good, but have faith in the conversion process lol! One of my best friends hated britney spears, calling her trash and shit, but I somehow got him to actually WANT to hear her music last time he came over.

I normally don't watch her music vids. But I was curious and the new music video is actulley A LOT better than I thought it was going to be. ^your either too thin or too fat, there's no winning in Hollywood. thats probably what she meant. either that or if she said the word fat instead of too thin she knows there would be more controversy about her & I'm sure she's trying to stay away from it as much as she possibly can.

& i agree with everyone, i was pleasantly surprised by this video. She actually tried. Way to go Britney. It reminds me a lot of "Do Something" (I think thats the name?).

i seriously don't know how someone can still be a fan after watching these videos. i'm not saying all this stuff to be mean cuz i know what it feels like to have people pick on a celeb i admire. but really..this time Britney has just gone overboard.

i thought she was just doing all these crazy stunts for attention, but holy crap. go to www.hollywood.tv and watch ALL the videos...she has gone COMPLETELY mental! i am like speechless after watching all of those videos there are 7 parts or something. i felt sorry for her in the first one, but the ones after...oh man. it's almost like she has multiple personalities. first shes telling the paparazzi to f off, then she goes into a public restroom yelling on the phone to someone, then she's all school girl giggly getting a paparazzi's number, then in a couple videos she turns all British, then she preceeds to run around in a Walgreens looking for another bathroom. i can go on but you should just watch for yourself. and this is all in one night lol wtf. Plus she also has almost like a little girls voice in some parts of the videos, it's super weird.

she seriously needs to be locked up..i can't believe how messed up the paparazzi has made her, it's really sad because she used to be so normal.

And as for the accents, you could clearly see she was confusing the paparazzi so how do you know she didn't do it purposely for that reason?

Yeah normal people have sex...but not with someone whose JOB it is to videotape/take pictures and stalk you everywhere you go to make money. That's just weird imo. If Paula all of a sudden hooked up with a paparazzi I would judge her too & think it's weird.

Well the difference between Paula and Britney.. Paula was lacking sleep because of WORK. She only gets like 2 hours of sleep sometimes because she has a few different jobs. Britney may get lack of sleep but only cuz she's so busy getting the paparazzi to notice her and partying all night. She's only done like one thing to promote this album. She has a choice of going to sleep, but Paula had job commitments that she couldn't get out of and thats why I'm not ragging on Paula for acting loopy.

I was at Ingles today and I saw a magazine talking about POM video, it was the cover's magazine and it said something like they edited the video to make Britney thiner, that wasn't exactly what it said, but it was hilarious!  :lol:

it would be hilarious if anyone else talked in the accent, but with all the crazy things britney did that night it came off as weird to a lot of people and people think she's like bipolar now or something. not just cuz of the british accent cuz one minute shes telling the paparazzi to f off & that she's just like everyone else, then the next she invites one into her car? yeah people don't do that not even other celebs that i know of. i understand she thought he was cute, but if it was someones job to stalk and take pics of me WHY would i invite them to a hotel or wherever at 4 in the morning? if she is bipolar thats fine i'm not gonna hate her cuz she's bipolar i just wish she would get help for it or whatever she has.

and the whole bathroom phone thing, why would she do that in a public restroom when she KNOWS paparazzi are right outside of the door? do it in your car or private for goodness sakes. that makes people think she's doing all this stuff for attention or that theres something wrong w/ her. I'm really not saying all of this to be mean cuz I used to be a huge Britney fan, have seen her in concert a few times and have all of her cd's except the last one (cuz of her antics). I'm really worried about her & A LOT of people i've talked to about this thinks she has some kind of mental problem (not in a joking way, like a real problem). it's all out of concern not to make fun of her. Even backstreet boy fans who have despised her this past year are kinda starting to feel she has more of a problem than we thought and almost feel bad for her. We WANT her to get help, but she seems to be heading down the same path as anna nicole and i'm not the only one who has said that.

i get what you're saying, but i really honestly think people read way too much into it. like you're asking a LOT of questions and then coming up with your own answer or explanation that seems to make the most sense to you. i mean, you really DON'T know anything for sure. neither do i. it's hard to say why she decided to be on the phone as opposed to doing it in her car or elsewhere... it could be for attention. or it could be that she was in a... bathroom. most people think that's a private place. so who knows? no one.

she does have other people to talk to though. im sure she has her sister to talk to despite her problems right now, jamie seems like she'll listen to britney. Or she could go see a psychiatrist which would be the smart thing to do. But if she REALLY doesn't wanna go see one or talk to her sister/other family members other people have reached out to her. AJ from the backstreet boys for example used to be in her shoes. i mean he had it bad (and has been sober for 5 years or so) and he's like "Britney, you know the way to get in touch with me, if you ever wanna talk im here for you" or something like that. he seems to be the most genuine celeb that wants to help her. and soo many other celebs have reached out to her as well who seem to genuinely wanna help her. sure some just want it so they make news like the american idol gang, but there are some who really do wanna help her and her being Britney she has the connections to get in touch with these people.

and if she did pour her heart out talking about all of her problems..then even she admits she has them. meaning she should get help for them not talk with a paparazzi about them cuz that'll just end up in the paper or on the news.

AJ from the backstreet boys for example used to be in her shoes. i mean he had it bad (and has been sober for 5 years or so) and he's like "Britney, you know the way to get in touch with me, if you ever wanna talk im here for you" or something like that. he seems to be the most genuine celeb that wants to help her. and soo many other celebs have reached out to her as well who seem to genuinely wanna help her. sure some just want it so they make news like the american idol gang, but there are some who really do wanna help her and her being Britney she has the connections to get in touch with these people.

and if she did pour her heart out talking about all of her problems..then even she admits she has them. meaning she should get help for them not talk with a paparazzi about them cuz that'll just end up in the paper or on the news.


no like obviously i completely agree with you about all of that. like to us, OF COURSE it seems like the logical answer to talk to all of those people instead of the paparazzi. but my point is that we really DON'T KNOW anything at all about what really goes on in her life. she clearly doesn't trust those people for whatever reason. to be fair, a LOT of people in her personal life who she has trusted at some point has sold her out to the media later on. i mean... she's probably just searching for the right people to be around. and yea, to us the obvious answer is her family, her old celebrity friends, etc... but she has her reasons why those people aren't good enough. we just don't know.

but her brother & sister wouldn't sell her to the media later on. her brother seems to be normal..we never hear a thing about him so she should have him come down to where she is and talk with her. i just dont get why she doesnt even have ONE person at least besides the paparazzi..everyone has at least 1 person they can talk to. i think shes just afraid to talk to anyone else.

and i havent seen the new one cuz i live on my own and dont have cable..just watch shows online now. is there a link to it?

i haven't seen it on youtube yet, but i'm sure it'll be up soon. they just talked about everything she's been through and they weren't putting her down at all... just basically pointing out that she was a child (even when baby one more time and oops! came out) and everyone tried shoving it all down her throat to become the biggest superstar ever... and they succeeded. but that lead to an alternate reality that she now lives in because she doesn't want to be "britney spears" which has become basically a product now as opposed to her as an actual person. there was a part at the end where this guy (i just completely blanked on who he was... he was someone that used to handle her) said that one night at one of her lowest points, she turned to him with tears in her eyes and wrapped her arms around him and said, "thank you." just as simple as that. and he even had tears in his eyes when he said! my heart broke after that. :( and they finished it up with everyone agreeing that she has it inside of her to come back. she's not just another teen pop has been, but an actual, genuine, natural performer.

Some famous mexican sorcerer gave his predictions for 2008, and one was that Britney will commit suicide. I don't usually believe in that stuff but he also predicted that there will be several earth tremors and earthquakes in Central America and one just happened a couple of hours ago here in Guatemala, and that's not very usual.

when the cops first showed up to her house they said that she was under the influence of an unkown substance, but since then her test results have come in all negative... there was no trace of drugs or alcohol.

she's just.... crazy. literally. i don't know if you guys have seen the pictures of her getting into the ambulance and arriving at the hospital. but they're the creepiest, scariest, and sad pictures i have ever seen. i don't even know what to think. this is like unreal. it was breaking news all thursday night and helicopters were everywhere. the entire street leading out of her neighborhood was lined with cars and paparazzi who were chasing the ambulance (on FOOT) to try to get a picture of her inside of it. i've never seen anything like this before. she's on a 72 hour lock down right now for mental evaluation.

People have been saying she's gonna commit suicide ever since she shaved her head. But that's weird that he predicted the Guatemala earthquake.

I hope she doesn't commit suicide and gets help, but the hospital tried to help her and couldn't even keep her there for more than a day and a half..I'm scared for Britney.

Apparently Dr. Phil is doing a show about her on Wednesday. He visited her before she left the hospital for an hour and is really concerned about her and said something like visiting her confirms that she needs serious help. There's an exact quote on TMZ and Entertainment Tonight's website.

nah I understand. If something like this ever happened to Paula I would be devastated. It was hard just watching her breakdown on her show every 10 mins about all the rumors that surrounded her, if something dramatic like this happened to Paula I don't know what I would do either. That's what i mean by helping herself....
If she goes to a rehab center far away from all the cameras and the action she could get better....
And yes I do agree that more people should be helping her....it's just that she needs to realize that she has problems and not be in denial about what's going on with her life right now...

Though I agree she definitely needs to move or take a vacation to a state like that you know the paparazzi will find out where she is and follow her there too. They are freaking stalkers. I think the only way she'll start to get better is if someone makes a law against the paparazzi. Or if she gets a restraining order against them..but that would be really difficult I assume.

I'm a semi-fan of Rosie's (hate her sometimes, like her other times). I read her blog once in a while when I feel like it & found this.

it's pretty deep..she never writes in full sentences on her blog (she uses the haiku style of writing) so i was pretty shocked when i saw this. She speaks the truth, one that most of us know but I liked how she worded it. I didn't know about the whole "I'm scared" thing till I read this. Poor Britney :(

^^yea, i was watching cnn the day britney was supposed to go to court. they said photogs from all over the world were there. seriously... the media frenzy outside that day was 10x that of when she goes to starbucks. they said it was even too much for the police on guard to handle.

she went to church afterwards and her and the people she was with all wrote notes to god. the one britney wrote said, "god bless me. help me get my children back."

and just a side note: i can't believe one of the papz actually went in to read the note she wrote...

i cant believe they would go in either, but at the same time i can cuz they are paparazzi ya know? they will do anything for money.

& i know i got on Britney's case for acting weird, but i'm really starting to feel sorry for her. Sooo my mom was looking at perfumes & I asked the lady that was helping her if they had the one in the blue bottle by Britney (i think i was thinking of midnight fantasy) cuz you guys intrigued me with your posts lol & I was also feeling bad for Britney so she ended up pulling out the Curious one & i decided to get it. the bottle is so freaking pretty (the one on the very left in the pic below) I know, I'm weird haha. I'll take a pic. of it a little later I got the really tiny bottle..I think there are a couple sizes.

i can't see it cuz i'm at work and perez is blocked here, but i'm sure you're talking about the picture when she's crying. i'm so confused over what happened last night.. but she seemed so sad. have you seen the videos? she was sitting on the curb crying and was saying, "i'm fine, i'm fine... please leave me alone." and of course the papz pretended like they cared, but in the end, they WOULDN'T leave her alone. at least she ended up with her mom.

i think they're having some sort of intervention at her house as we speak...

apparently she tried to committ suicide..the story is on that x17 site and i'm sure it'll be everywhere else in the morning.

this is so sad, i hope she can get help after this and get better.

the suicide rumor is false... x17 already corrected themselves. britney's psychiatrist is the one that set this all up. britney hadn't slept since saturday and the doctor was worried about her driving, etc. but britney was calm and willingly went to the hospital.

Unlike the last time she was committed, this time around Britney Spears was all about peace and silence as she waited for cops and paramedics to take her away.

At her home earlier in the evening, we're told Sam Lutfi informed Brit he had been working with her psychiatrist and the cops and she would be going back to the hospital. At that point, we're told, Lynne Spears became extremely upset and accused Lutfi of trying to control her daughter. Brit then told everyone to "shut up," saying "I'll do what I need to do."

After that, Britney demanded complete silence. She sat on the floor and began passing notes to Lutfi, Adnan and others as they waited for the cops and emergency workers. Utterly different from the last time.
