Title: Happy 1st Anniversary Vanessa Carlton's "Be not Nobody
Post by: eclv on April 29, 2003, 09:47:47 pm: So a year ago today... wow!! How long we waited, anticipated, but soooo worth it!! Thank you Vanessa for such an amazing album... ahh the memories...

I had pre-ordered my BnN on amazon weeks before and paid extra for shipping and still rachel's came first!!! We also had to wait about a month to see 1000 roses but it was just so amazing knowing what good we had done!

Oh wonderful times! I even ripped the stream and made mp3s, so I've had BnN 2 weeks in advance!! :wink:
Oh and I gave Nerea the link!! and at that time, I thought she was a guy (by looking at her sn), shame on me... :oops:

Then seeing how everything had worked out so well, even though I never got to see it on TV, made me feel so happy I was part of it. The board was such an awesome place back then *sigh*

Yes, Ghis! I remember you giving me the link and specifically remember listening to Unsung for the first time for some reason... I had to wait a while for the album but it was well worth it :wink:

Congrats Vanessa! And Happy BnN day everyone! (Xmas day in April.... haha remember?)

Goodness gracious I can't believe it's been a year already! I was part of the street team as well and I remember annoying all my friends (including everyone else in the 500 student residence hall) by making them listen to A Thousand Miles and watching her every time she was on tv. Then I got BNN and listened to it 24/7, which I still tend to do when I'm on a Vanessa kick. After a year an a half of being one of her first fans I finally went to my first show, and joined this wonderful community of NessAholics. So thanks to Vanessa, we love you! And thanks to everyone at NH.com for all you've done! Rock On!
