Title: Grey/Gray Hair
Post by: divasteph on May 19, 2003, 06:34:17 am: I have recieved my first few grey hairs last night I noticed about 5 - and I am 21 years old - I just wonder people's ages when they have noticed grey and how it has effected thier hair - are you completely grey - do you color your grey, have they gone away and havn't come back, was it due to stress, etc?

Post by: Daniel on May 21, 2003, 02:01:06 pm: I had my first grey hairs when I was in elementary school (I don't remember at exactly what age)... my doctor said it is hereditary, and there is nothing I can do to stop it (other than color it, which I do). My dad was bald by the time he was 21, and I know that I am slowly going bald as well (partly because of genetics).

At least now I know I'm not alone :)

dont feel bad i know this girl at my school in sixth grade with about 30 gray hairs already :!:

Post by: divasteph on May 22, 2003, 11:03:54 am: well see i dont know if i said this before - but its not genetics - my mom didnt start to grey until 40 - so it must be purely stress - doesn't that suck - i already do color - but thats because i like to try new things - not because of grey - but now these greys are causing more stress - am i going to look like that girl from x-men???

I think they are just paranoid tho.

I think it'll be cool when im completely grey cuz then i can finally dye it reeeeally red. I'll be a kickass redhead rockin granny! woohoo

Oh and mine are solid white not grey. I'll be one of those old italians with solid white hair which I would prefer over old grey anyway.
