She should give it a real human name, that way when you talked about "it" your mind would tell you to say "him or her" but you have to say it, because an album is an "it".  For example (I'll use my name)

Okay, Vanessa's new album is now called "Christine"

I love Christine, it rocks.

See I said it, even though I know you all want to say (She)

I love Christine, she rocks.
