This came from an interview before the Ithaca college show. I found this thru vanessacarlton.info (give rogier credit for this info)

Vanessa didn't say nov. 2003 (like on mtv) and she said that it might even be released spring (not winter) so don't have ur hopes too high. I wish what she said on mtv was gonna come true, but now it seems that she's not so sure about nov. anymore and she's even saying that it might be released spring 2004. omg.

i can't wait that long, but good music takes a long time :)
