*cries* Why do they do this to me? The Yankees and Reds should NOT have to play each other. I'm sad now. THIS is very depressing, my friends.

I knowa's what I'm saying. If you've seen Sorority Boys, you'll know WHO I'm talking about. The Yankee I'm talking about is Posada.

CeCe,
You live in LOUISVILLE, KY! What reason could you POSSIBLY have to cheer for the Yankees. They are the most bloated and destructive team ever. Destructive to the sport they are a part of. The grab up all the free agent talent every off season and only the teams that can match their spending have any shot at getting marquee players. The Reds are the OLDEST team in ML baseball but because they are in a smaller market they will never have as many titles as the Yankees unless the MLB adopts a REAL salary cap.
F' the Yankees and their rich a-hole owner. I wanted to Reds to sweep them, but I'll take 2 of 3 every week.

I know, Andrew . . . well, I know most of what you were saying. But, it's so hard for me to figure out who I'm going for when the Yankees play the Reds. I can't help it. I've always been a Yankees' fan, but . . . see, my Dad, he had stuff to do with the Reds, and I'm supposed to go for the Reds, and I do. Believe me, but not when they play the Yankees. The Yankees are better than the Reds are live, and I think I stopped going for the Reds when Griffey started to play for the Reds, because I didn't want anyone to think the reason I was a Reds' fan is because he was on their team, (making it seem like I knew nthing about baseball).
It's very, no -UNBELIEVABLY hard for me to choose between shit like "Who was a better catcher, Yogi Berra or Johnny Bench?" You can't do this to me!!! Can't the Reds and Yankees just merge and become the Rankees or Yeds?
But, don't get me wrong, Reds' team of 1975 kicked ass.
And the Yankees have alway kicked ass.
So . . .

Ugh! The Yankees are the BAD guys! They are like the Red Wings! THE ENEMY! Especially for anyone in the south. And I consider myself a southerner at heart.
And theres no question, Bench was the man.
Reds have won 7 of the last 8 vs the Yankees going back to 1976.
F' The Yankees, go Reds.

Yes. Terrible tragedies - Yankees losing to the Reds in '76, Etc.
BUT see, I'm moving to New York when I'm 18. Yes. I'll be legally able to, and NO ONE can stop me. >: )

lol. People never appreciate how amazing Louisville is until they leave. People talk about how they want to leave, then they leave and all they can do is talk about how bad they want to come back.
Especially now that they are starting construction on the 4th Street Live! project.
