-

-
I would like to see them, but my mom refuses to take me, and I don't think she'll even let me see them after that comment one of the girls made. Oh well *shrugs* Glad you had a good time tho.
-
Thanks. I know, that was rude of them to make comments like they did. But I still like them!

Well seeing how Natalie made the comment, not them, it wasn't rude of them, nor was it really a rude comment, it was said out of anger, and how she felt after she saw how the world felt about America, and how he didn't seem to care...She apoligized she said it at the wrong time...What was rude, were the people trying to kill her career for it...I would like to see all those people get protested against and have people try to kill their career...then see how wonderful it feels.
I really feel bad for Emily and Martie too... They didn't deserve the protestors, and I am glad Natalie spoke her mind.

-
got this in my e-mail, made me smile...They're like the eminem of country music....makes me so proud.
Taken from 6/23/03 NY Times:
During the set Ms Maines mentioned "the incident" as she introduced "Truth
No. 2," which begins, "You don't like the sound of the truth coming from my
mouth." She dedicated it to Michael Moore, who made an antiwar speech at the
Academy Awards.
As the Dixie Chicks played "Truth No. 2," video screens showed protest
marches for civil rights and abortion rights, followed by book and record
burnings
and the destruction of Dixie Chicks CD's. Its final image showed the words
"Seek the Truth." [etc.]
The Dixie Chicks.... are not predictable; in "Top of the World," their new
single, they sing about a dead man's irreparable regrets. The made a video clip
for it, Ms. Maines announced, adding, "We haven't been banned from television
yet."
-
that was one of the best parts of the whole show joey!!!
-

Check out the songs I've link you to
This album actually broke the chain of listening to Heroes and Thieves constantly. I've been a fan of the Dixie Chicks for about 1 year and a half and but I think it's only recently that i've really begun to appreciate them more and more.
