Title: Ever read A tree grows in Brooklyn?

I'm reading it for summer reading...no school has not ended yet but I'm starting early because it's a long book plus I need to read 3 other books. So anyone read it? It's pretty good so far. I have read the first 17 pages and I'm into it! It's pretty good and it's a classic...so if you have never read it you should check it out.

well i got to like page 42, and never picked it up again...

I have summer reading, but i forgot to get the list though....so now i don't know what to read...oh well.

ya I hate summer reading. I have to read two for english and two for history! But it's ok because I find a tree grows in brooklyn quite amuzing at the moment...lol jewish people aren't white...that made me laugh...and then I have to read the odysey! ohh fun! and then for history I have to read I have lived a thousand years and after the war. They are both about the holocaust so it should be easy considering I know a lot about it just by personal research.

the odysey, i skipped so many pages, and yet passed the test...its really boring, and odd, and confusing...good luck.

ya a lot of the people I talked to who are going into the 10th grade said that it was really really boring. I think I'll have one of my friends who already read the book help me....it seems stupid.

lol yup thats where i am going, 10th grade...you gonna be a freashmen?

yup....even though I'm still in the jr.high I'm in high school... I'm scared now that my grades count...I'll like fail everything now!

i have to read three books for english

one for US

and i have some assignment for spanish. :X blah

1) Cece's amazed you all are just now reading The Odyssey.
2) My Aunt's an 8th grad teacher, she says high schools rarely look back at your grades.
3) I lost my Summer reading list, too. :\
