I usually know what I'm going to write about, but it doesn't take form until I'm putting the post together.

When I write a short story and with the novel I'm working on, I have an chapter-by-chapter outline and a character summary, then I expand it as I write.

I grab my guitar, jam something out that may sound cool or absolutely rediculous depending on how much coke (the drink) I've taken in, but I have ADD so once I play it, it's gone forever, so it'll never be posted, sorry all :wink:
